( Zach's p.o.v.)

I can't believe she would talk about her like that.

She was the girl I love.

The girl who used to be my best friend.

The girl I saw die right in front me

And it was all because of Alex

I can't believe she brought of the topic of Alison.

I knew Josh likes Alison but I love her.

She was my everything.

And when she died half of my heart broke.

But when I lost two of my best friends that I gladly love the most my other half broke.

I should've just listened to Alex and let her explain her story.

I mean I didn't get her to explain but I can't take it back now.

I love Alex but my heart will always be on Alison.

I can't lose her or even Josh as my best friend.

I have to apologize.

So I ran after her and when I saw that she went to another classroom I turned around to walk away.

Then all of a sudden I heard people talking. About me.

"He wouldn't even let me explain, and then when I brought up Alison he slapped me" familiar voices said. I knew that that was Alex.

I saw Josh tence up and he stopped in his track.

"You shouldn't be talking about Alison. I know how he feels." Josh said walking again

Thank you at least someone here is agreeing to my feelings.

"But he wouldn't let me explain that Britney talked about my parents." Alex said she stopped walking and looked at Josh.

Britney talked about Alex's parents when I was there?

I'm such an idiot.

"Can I ask you a question?" Alex asked Josh

"Anything baby girl" I cringed at the nickname. I used to call Alex that and I was the only one. I never had a nickname for and Josh. I call Alison Ali and Josh....well....Josh.

"Do you think my parents went to work and never came back because of me? Because they don't want to see their freak of a daughter?" Alex said looking at him straight in the eye then looked at the floor.

Don't ever say that Alex I thought.

He lifted her chin with his finger and looked at her straight in the eyes.

"Don't ever listen to Britney. Okay you are not a freak. You are my best friend and I am lucky to have her as my best friend. They would come back evantually. They love you and you didn't notice this but me and Zach see that whenever someone talks about you their eyes lit up and the smile. They love you they just don't see it. So please dont say things like that. Okay?" Josh said wiping a tear off of her cheek.

"Okay" she said. They started having a staring contest.

What are they doing?

Then all of a sudden Josh kissed Alex.

She was shocked but she kissed back.

Then they pulled apart.

"Sorry I just wanted to do that" Josh said.

I thought he likes Alison?

Alex blushed. "Can we please go to the yogurt place? Like now?" Alex said.
And she's back.

"Yeah let's go" Josh said before leaving.

Then the bell rang.

But I was still deep in thought.

Why did Josh kiss Alex? I thought he liked Alison? And why did it hurt that he kissed her?
