Staring out into the star filled night sky, I begin to reflect on my day, wondering if I could have foreseen what was to come in the day I have ahead of me.

Briiing! Briiing! I wake up to my alarm going off, groaning I rub my eyes, blinking the sleep from my eyes before willing myself to open my eyes.
After having a quick shower and washing my hair, I get changed into my uniform, which consisted of a white button up elbow length sleeve shirt, a pair of black pants and a black jacket. I tied my now half dry brown with faint blonde streaks hair into a high ponytail then I headed out of my bedroom and went to the kitchen to have a quick breakfast.
Brushing my teeth and putting on my black and blue Bonds socks and my leather black Nike shoes. I walk outside of my house, hopping into my black Volvo and start driving to work not knowing where I will have to go or with who and what case I will be facing today. 'Will I be doing paper work or will I be assisting my team?', 'I wonder which location I will be assigned today'.
I thought to myself as I start walking into my work building and into the elevator after parking my car, but not before showing the security guard my employee ID card. The security guards that stand near the monitors take their jobs very serious here. I mean, who wouldn't if they knew that there is one whole level full of Criminal Investigator Officers, me being one of them would know. I greet my colleagues Rebecca, Chelsea and Natalie. Just as I was about to sit in my familiar chair, I suddenly hear our boss Gelila Gibbs. Her strict familiar looking face has an unusual facial expression, her shiny olive complexion, sparkling green eyes and her skinny, fragile figure looks tense from stress.
