Chapter 7

JUSTIN'S POV

We drove for about 20 minutes when she stopped the car. I had no idea where we were since Jenna insisted I wear a blindfold. She got out of the car and came over to my side to direct me where to go. She grabbed my hand and I swear there were more fireworks right now then at the 4th of July.

She pulled me up what seemed like a hill. Once we got to the top we started walking on a little trail, I think we were walking through a forest because every step you could hear crunching of leaves. We walked for about 5 minutes (pretty sure I have poison ivy now...) she stopped and took my blindfold off.

I just loved everything about this place. I looked around and admired every little part of this place. I'm not one of those 'Oh pretty sunset, lets Instagram dat' kind of guys but oh man, this was amazing.

There was a waterfall that flowed into a pond. The pound was surrounded by white and red roses, and mini pebbles. Than to the left there were two trees that were crossing to form an x. Under the tree there was a giant rock. I mean GIANT.

"How did you find this place?" I asked shocked.

JENNA'S POV

Should I tell him. I just met him... What if he tells everyone. I guess it wouldn't really matter, I probably won't see him ever again, and it's not like I am telling him every little detail... Okay here I go...

"Well, when my p-parents died..." I started getting ready for him to be mad, but he stayed silent. He just looked at me as if saying to continue. "Um the cemetery is just a couple miles away, and during the Burial, I didn't want to believe that my parents were really dead. I didn't believe it. I ran, and ran, and ran until I saw a hill. I just kept running, I ran up the hill and ran through the forest. At that time it didn't have a trail cause I built the trail a little after this. Anyway I ran until I found Roger."

"Who's Roger?" Justin asked

"That giant bolder." I laughed "I saw Roger, and he was sitting there just like that, and the trees weren't there. Ever since then, I have been coming here whenever I can. Whether it's to write songs, stories, or to just get away from the world, this is where I would come. Roger is all I had."

Justin looked down. I had a feeling he didn't really know what to say. So I grabbed his hand and led him to the rock. We both laid down on it.

We talked and talked and talked. I think he is my best friend. It's like he is the answer to all my questions. We talked until it got dark.

"Janna?" He asked, "pinky promise me we won't ever tell anyone what we talked about" he said holding out his pinky. I joined my pinky with his and I looked into his eyes. I saw something I had never noticed before, they weren't the dark brown they usually are, they had yellow around the pupil and brown/orange on the outside. They were different. They were almost softer, or calmer in a way.
