Missing (Fairy Tail Fanfic)

Chapter 12

Gray POV

This kid is really starting to piss me off. The little punk won't let us get near the girls or other children.

"Look kid." Gajeel said getting down to his level. "We won't hurt you or the girls, we just want to help." Gajeel finished with a surprising amount of gentleness and kindness in his voice than I thought possible for the brute of the man. However the kid just growls.

"Lockland?" A weak voice calls out from one of the beds. I look up and see the ocean blue eyes I've been craving to see for the past 7 years.

"Juvia!" I yell pushing past the kid and scooping her up in to a hug.

"Gray-sama?" Juvia said confusion lacing her voice.
"Yeah, it's me. You don't need to worry, your home now. We got you." I pull away from her warm embrace to look down at her, a tear slowly rolls down my cheek and Juvia reaches up and swipes it away. "I have been looking for you for 7 year Juvia, where were you? I missed you." I feel tears soak through my shirt, "Gods, I missed you so much." She nods her head and pulls away from me looking up at me with endearing eyes, after a while she looks around franticly and stands up.

"May." She said looking around the room, not finding what she's looking for she yells out this time, "May!" I little girl crawls out from behind the punk kid and Juvia sighs with relief as the kid runs to her and jumps on to her making her fall back down onto the bed. She laughs and hugs the girl closer, then sits back up legs hanging over the side of the bed, the girl whose name must be May, curls up in her lap. She looks over to the punk kid, who's stopping any of the other guys getting close to the girls and kids, and says in a gentle voice, "It's alright Lockland you can trust them." He looks up confused, letting Gajeel and Natsu slip past him, "Where's Kaida is she alright, are you alright." He points over to the pink haired girl who must be Kaida who's standing next to Lucy's bed silently sobbing and nods answering all her questions then he head over to Levy's bed and sits down next to it leaning up against the wall, looking up at Levy.

"Mummy." I quietly hear May whisper into Juvia.

"Yes, sweetie." She answered.

Wait... Did she say Mummy? I could hear Juvia and May talking in the background but one thing stuck out in Gray's mind, she called her Mummy and she replied.

"What?" I mumble out confused at the scene that just unraveled in front of me. "Juvia," I say sitting back down next to her. "She's your daughter?" I ask confused, I must have misheard them, she couldn't have said Mummy could she. Right?

Juvia sat up a bit straighter and took on a defensive position pushing May behind her a bit. "Yes, so what if she is." Juvia said.

I sit there stunned at what I just heard, "Who's the father." I whisper out looking down at the little girl, how could I have doubted she was Juvia's daughter she looks just like her, except for her eyes, they were darker more of a Navy blue sort of colour.

Juvia looks down at her daughter and May look back up at her, then it hits me May doesn't know either. "It doesn't matter." Juvia states patting Mays head, "She has me and the others, and we've been fine so far."

I look at her questioningly and sigh, well she hasn't changed much, still just as stubborn.

I move my arm around her and she leans in to me, "It's alright, she doesn't need a father. Here at Fairy Tail everyone will be her family, your home." I say looking at both May and Juvia, Juvia's eyes sparkled with love for the home she left, thankful to be greeted again with open arms. But deep down under neither all of that, there was a spark of disappointment, almost like something was hiding. Like she was hiding something.

Natsu POV

She's here in front of me, after all this time she came back to me.

Lucy POV

Where am I?

What's that noise?

I groan and try and open my eyes. Just as this happens 2 load voices cut through the murmur and kick my brain in to action. One voice I know with my whole heart, Kaida.

I blink my eyes open to find two blurry figures both with outrageous pink hair. As I lay there waiting for my vision to clear two small hands grab on to my arm and I pull them up on to the bed, knowing it was Kaida, I sit her on my lap and tickle her tummy.

She bursts in to a fit of giggles and screams. "Mummy, hehehehehehe, stop, hehehe, it!"

I laugh and fall back on the bed, pulling Kaida with me, our laughing dies down and I look to my left and see Gajeel sitting next to Levy's bed playing with his guitar as Lockland watches on in interest... Wait Gajeel... Gajeel's in Fairy Tail, why is he here. Did they finally find us? No... No they didn't.

All at once the memories from being of the run came rushing back to me. Then it clicked we were at Fairy Tail that must mean...

"Lucy?" A familiar voice says gently.

Outrageous pink hair catches my eyes.

I feel a hand on my shoulder.

Natsu.
