I remember reading about Alice and her journey throughout wonderland. I remember reading that she fell from the sky, down to a dark hole. Completely unaware that falling through the darkness would change her life completely. I always thought how incredible it would be to experience that. Being able to speak to flowers and to paint roses. But I never expected falling into the ground, and only speaking to one creature, who doesn't reply to anything I say. Only stares at me blankly with confusion.
I miss home. Yet, all I ever wished for was to escape from it. From the real world where I'd feel pain everyday. All I ever wanted was to dream about traveling. But now, I'm home sick. Even though I don't remember where it is or what it looks like, I still miss it.
When Alice fell through that rabbit hole, she felt curious, and explored her surroundings, asked questions and learned from so much. For me, (Someone who is experiencing something very similar) did the complete opposite. I ran to the nearest corner and cried. I was too afraid and angry to even try to gather clues, or explore, or ask questions. Because as far as I know, whenever I do ask questions, nothing is answered beside the sound of silence.
As I sat there listening to nothingness, a key note was heard behind me. At first it startled me, later as more sound was exposed, I realized what was making the notes. Doing something I surprisingly didn't expect to do, I turned around.
That tall dark figure was playing a very calming sympathy, off of a snow glimmering white grand piano. This piano was purched on top of the small hill, located under the small doors I feel from on the high sealing. As the song played more vigorously, I found my self drawn to it. It pulled me beyond control with a strong force. The figures large fingers hit the keys gracefully.
I sat directly beside the piano and watched him get lost in that confusing mind of his that I would call notes. Because nothing was more interesting than coming up with the song and going with the flow, than reading off of a paper.
