Chapter 3

Thursday 6:00
I rolled out of bed, go into the bathroom to take a shower, put my brown hair up into a messy bun and throw on some mascara and lipgloss. I walk back into my room and see a text from Hunter
H- Good morning beautiful.
E- Good morning.
H- I was wondering if you wanted to come over today after school to hang out?
E- Sure just let me ask my mom. I'm sure she won't mind.
~conversation went on for another hour~
"I'm going to walk with Vanessa this morning." I said to my mom no reply so I'm guessing it's okay. It turns out that Vanessa lives down the street from me so if I need anything I can just go to her house. I walk over to Vanessa's house and knock on the door but I get no response. I tried calling her but it went straight to voicemail, so I just went on to school alone. On the way to school I couldn't help but notice Blake and Madison waking together. Madison's friends come up to me and start messing with me and saying "Awe is someone jealous?" And "Well he doesn't like you anyway and he never would, have you seen what you look like." And " Hunter is just using you as soon as you start dating he is going to dump you like that." Why did I let that get to me? "Why should I let you guys ruin my life?" I asked " I'm just giving you a word of advise" someone said from behind them, it was Madison " I dated Hunter and a couple days after he dumped me for someone else." She said. " Well maybe he just didn't feel the relationship anymore I mean obviously Blake doesn't, but you must have something that he wants." "OOOHHH!" I hear people scream. Madison came up to me and smacked me in the face and then walked away, I ran up behind her but before I could hit her back Blake stopped me and pulled me aside. " Don't sink to her level please she isn't worth it." He said. "Well she is obviously worth your time, and I know you like her it's okay." I said. "I don't like her, I like you." He said bringing me closer to him and wrapping his arms around my waist, then he leaned in for a kiss, I tried to lean away but I just couldn't. I pushed him away and ask him "What was that for?" "Well I like you Emily." I looked behind me and see Hunter with anger in his eyes just looking down and walking away.

Hunters POV
I am walking in the halls to try to find Emily, and I see a hold bunch of people. When I went to go see what they were looking at it was Emily and Blake kissing, the kiss only lasted like 10 seconds but it was still a kiss. I sighed and my cheeks were red and my eyes were full of anger. Wait why am I doing this. Do I like Emily? Emily looked at me and mouthed the word sorry but she actually meant it. Madison saw the whole thing to and she was a bit pissed off as well. I walked away and heard someone calling my name "Hunter, Hunter please he kissed me." I turned around to see Emily 'the last person I wanted to see right now' "What are you trying to say exactly Emily?" I asked her " He kissed me" " I don't like him like that I like you." Hearing her say that meant something did I like her back? "Are we still on for tonight?" I asked "Yes." She said boldly. Ha I win Blake. I said to my self or at least I thought. "What did you say?" Emily asked? "Oh shit, wait nothing." "Okay see you tonight." She said.
