What's the point of even trying at school? I mean, Mindy the popular girl and her posse hate me. Not that I care. And then Christie and Andy have always tried to be nice to me. I can tell it doesn't work though. What's the point of trying to make an effort with me? I don't fit in and I feel like such a freak at times. Maybe it's just because that's what Mindy calls me I thought scolding myself. Walking into gym I tossed my stuff onto the bleachers as I went into the locker-room to change. Gossip was already spreading.

"Oh..my..god! Did you hear that Mindy wears a wig!?" Elizabeth shrieked as some girls around her gasped. "Woah, that is so, like, totally insaneee" her best friend Milly said smoothing out her chestnut locks. Everyone at this school seemed to have a bad habit of picking on people. "She may not be the nicest but you have to hand it to her that she disguised it pretty well" I said thinking about myself. What would I do if I had a wig. And if everyone always harassed me about wanting to touch my hair. But then I thought back to all of the times that she acted like a bitch to me. When she always cursed at me and picked on me, and even got me in trouble on purpose. I clenched my fists.

At the side of the locker Mindy was there wildly discussing something with her 'friends'. They all snickered and looked at me amused. Not more then a few seconds later, my phone chimed and I got a picture. Not something very good. I could just tell by looking at the person who sent it. Mindy. Gathering my breath, I opened the file freezing. There was a picture of me shoving my chest into Michael's abs. The. Hottest. Guy. At. School. No wonder they were laughing at me.  Not in a million years would that happen to me. I was one of the most unpopular kids at school. One of the outsiders. I couldn't even picture myself with the 50th most popular guy at school. Tucking my blonde hair behind my ear, I stormed out of the locker room without even bothering to change. I already had on sweat pants with a tank top, something I would wear anyways. Everything seemed fine except that Michael was in my gym class. Sadly, I knew he would be receiving that text soon. Photobucket. How cruel I thought sighing. Besides, he was to nice to have to get something like that.

Thankfully, I figured that his phone would be in the locker room. Not even Mindy and crew were that fast of texters. "ALL RIGHT EVERYONE, TODAY WERE PLAYING DODGE BALL. YOU ALL KNOW THE POINT OF THE GAME, SO LETS BEGIN!" The coach blared deftly interrupting my thoughts. Usually when you got out, you were aloud to check your phones, and ipods and whatever. Not technically 'aloud' but people did it anyway. That's when I figured it out. Mindy picked up one of the dirtest redest balls she could find as she aimed in the direction of Michael. I knew that he would check his phone immediately. Dashing to get in front of him I threw myself at the ball leaping in front of him. There was about a few minutes left though. John Runal leapt in front of me as the ball hit his chest deflecting it from me. He himself wasn't all that bad looking with long shaggy blonde hair that fell in a fringe directly into his eyes. He had a deep seductive voice that made anything seem dreamy and intense. The guy wasn't all that popular though because he hated snobs. "YOURRR OUT!" called coach Blank. Oh jeez, I thought wanting to hit my head on the wall. Mindy smiled, I knew she hadn't planned for that to happen. It just made her little world of drama that much better.
