What if Lucas' original draft for the ending of Return of the Jedi actually happened? First, for those who don't know, George wanted the ending of the movie to have a dark twist, for Luke to put Vader's helmet and saying the lines, "Now I'm Vader" but instead we see Anakin (Darth Vader) die in Luke's arms, but what if Luke had put the helmet on. Let's starts, ready? Here we go. First, after Luke puts on the helmet, he orders to make a new suite since Luke is in good health, with no breathing problem, and no life support, but he specifically said that it should just like Vader's. When Luke finally turns into the next Vader, there is no Jedi to stop him, since Luke was the last Jedi, and the only thing that could is the Rebel alliance, but we'll go back to the Rebels later. Anyway, after Luke gets his new suite, he goes and makes plans to stop the rebels and take control of the galaxy. Meanwhile, the rebels make their base in D'Qar to try and stop the Empire . When the 2nd Deathstar is completed, Luke orders to test it by destroying an unknown planet. When Leia discovers that Luke has joined the Dark side, she sends Han, Chewie and an X-wing squadron to go to the Deathstar, find Luke, get him out and destroy the Deathstar. When Luke is meditating, he feels the light side in him, he feels a temptation to join the rebellion once again, but he is interrupted by The commander stating that Han and Chewie are aboard the Deathstar, Luke orders him to let them come to him. 10 minutes and 12 confirmed killed stormtroopers
later, Han finds Luke,. Han tries to convince Luke that he doesn't have to this ( I'll explain the "This" later) but Luke says to Han that he has to because he thinks that if he does "it", he will continue his father's legacy. After this all happens he kills Han. After he goes out to find the rebel base and destroy it. When Luke launches an attack on the base, he finds out that there is another Jedi, which is Han's son, Ben Solo, where he has been trained by an unknown Jedi, and faces Luke. When both battle, Ben says to Luke "You have killed my father", where Luke gets a flashback of him battling Darth Vader, then an explosion happens. After the explosion, Luke returns to the Deathstar, where he starts to meditate, and then he sees Anakin's ghost appear in front of him saying that he had done many mistakes, that he doesn't want Luke to make the same ones, and then tells Luke that he loves him, and he apologizes to him for cutting his arm. After that, Luke takes off his helmet and sees his reflection, where he sees his true self, where he sees blood in his arm, innocent blood. He secretly goes to the rebel base on D'Qar; after he lands, he goes up to Ben and apologizes for killing his father and tells the rebels that he has done wrong, he has committed the mistakes his father did, then he proceeds to take off his helmet, and destroys it with his lightsaber, the same lightsaber that Vader had. After that he shook hands with Ben. The rebels proceed to destroy the second Deathstar. They succeeded and everything goes well and TFA doesn't happen, until... (See next part)
