The Ice Ninja (Sasuke Uchiha)

Chapter 8.

Sasuke had given us the order to split up and try to find any leads on the Aktsuki. I had gone to a village somewhere in the south. I was walking around when something suddenly caught my eye.

It was a necklace with a snowflake pendant. The second I saw it I stopped in my tracks.

"T-that necklace," I thought

That necklace belonged to my clan, it was a necklace that gave any ninja the power of medical ninjutsu. It was said to be lost put could it possibly it, could have someone found it not realizing the power it came with? I couldn't help but wonder about the possibility of it being that necklace.

So I bought it and quickly went back to my task, but suddenly there was an explosion close to the rendezvous point.

"SASUKE!!" alarms were going off in my head causing me to run as fast as I can to where the explosion went off.

I hope nothing happened to him. I moved as fast as I could, but when I got there Sasuke was on the floor next to Suigetsu with quite a few scratches and bruises.

"I ran into a member of the Akatsuki," Sasuke said coughing a bit.

Karin looked like she was gonna flip out. Juugo and Suigetsu looked worried. Sasuke passed out and we took him to the nearest inn so he could rest.

We spent maybe a few minutes at the inn when suddenly Karin started punching Suigetsu causing water to go everywhere. Karin was really starting to tick me off so I kicked her in the face.

"Kill......I want to kill!" Juugo shouted as his curse mark began to spread over his body.

This made the three of us jump on him trying to restrain him.

"Juugo, calm down," Sasuke commanded as he sat up a bit.

Juugo's curse mark then began to recede. Me, Suigetsu and Karin sighed in relief as Juugo calmed down and began to go on about how Sasuke was Kimimaro's replacement.

After that everyone was on their best behavior. When night came everyone disappeared, except for Karin. She tried to snuggle up Sasuke but he rejected her and she disappeared.

"Let me see the necklace," Sasuke said quietly as he sat up.

I grabbed the necklace out of my pocket and handed it to him.

"I haven't tried it out yet," I whispered.

"The healer's snowflake," he whispered as he examined the pendant. "I want you to test it out on me Tsubaki," he looked at me with all seriousness.

I nodded and put the necklace on then touching my finger ton the center letting some of my chakra flow into it. I brought my hand to Sasukes arm then tried activating the jutsu. A few seconds went by and then the medical jutsu began to work.

"It's working," I let out a sigh of relief and then stopped the jutsu.

"Make sure you you hold on to that necklace Tsubaki, it may come in handy one day," Sasuke said as he laid back down.

I nodded and went back to where I was. I closed my eyes and then fell asleep.
