A/N: Okay. So I'm deciding that I'm just gonna start calling them chapters instead of coming up with names for them. But anyways. Back to the story.
Corbin's POV
I get out of Football Tryouts just in time to watch April do her tumbling. She's amazing. I've always been attracted to her, but I've been too scared to do anything about it. Until now.
I decide to wait by her car for her. My mind is racing, and my palms sweaty. I scroll through her Instagram and wait until she approaches me. I can see the look of surprise in her beautiful green eyes.
"Hey? Is something wrong, or...?" She questions.
Yeah. She's not mine.
"No. I just wanted to talk." I retort.
"About?" She says.
She doesn't seem very happy.
"I was just wondering if... Um. You would maybe wanna go on a date with me Friday night? Just to get to know each other." The words fly out of my mouth.
Her face has a surprised look on it. "Um shure. What time should I be ready at?" Her voice makes my insides melt.
I can't believe she said yes!
"8:00 sound okay?" I ask. I'm so happy!
"Shure. That sounds great." She smiles at me. I get out of her way and let her get to her car. I wave goodbye, and I walk off to my car.
