Gift of a friend

Here it is new start somewhere different then before. My mom figured she would bring me to school today since its day one somewhere new. I got up took a shower for ten minutes got out placed my hair in its usual way alined   To the side. I grabbed a black shirt with white skinny jeans ripped by the knees. I took my back pack and my lunch got into the small car of my mom. Once I got to school I waved good bye to my mom and left. I found a boy coming towards my way... He had brown hair and brown eyes.

"Hey" he said throwing a week smile towards me.
"Hey" I said back looking at him.
"I'm Liam fallow me I'll show you around so you know where to go when class time comes!" He sais.
" I'm Matthew thanks for the help." I reply

I fallowed Liam, he showed me the school my classes and the cafeteria. Once the bell rang we both left for our classes. Then lunch time came and because I didn't know much people I decided to bring my lunch outside to a picnic table. But once I got outside I saw Liam and some older guys at first I thought they were his friends but they took away Liam's sandwich, once the 3 boys left I saw Liam put his head on the table letting his arms and hands cover the frown and sobs. I came over to him with my lunch and sat by his side.

"Leave me alone!" He said before I could even place a word.
"Liam its okay, I have something for you." He looks up to me with his puppy face.
"Here" I say giving him a piece of my juice box and some change my mom had left me in my bag so he could go buy something to drink.
"Thanks" he said.
"Can we be friends?" I ask, he looks at me as he stopped chewing on he sandwich I passed him.
"I... I never had a friend before." He says with a frown on his face.
"Its okay I never did either I wish I had a best friend." I say as a frown stands on my face too.
"Best Friends?" He says.
"Best Friends." I reply with a smile coming back.
