Minh’s POV
“Huh?! Why the hell did you do that?!” I screamed at Hyun-Ae.
I was feeling mad and confused. It was way too early in the morning for this.
“C’mon Minnie, cheer up! I know you always said that you were too shy to try out but you got into Black Rose! One of the biggest entertainment companies in Korea thinks you have talent!” She retaliated. “And besides this is for your own good!”
Hyun-Ae huffed and left my room. I sat there for a good few minutes letting all the news soak into me. I started to consider the pros and cons of doing this.
Pros
Would become less shy (hopefully)
Meet new people
Become famous
Cons
Could be even more shy
People wouldn’t like me
Maybe I should just try, it wouldn’t hurt. Hyun-Ae’s probably right. This is for my own good. I left my room to find my pushy friend lounging on the couch with a soda watching a rerun of music bank. It was of Hyuna singing Change. She looked strong and confident as usual. I poked Hyun-Ae.
“Hey…. I’m going to accept the offer.”
I guess my answer totally surprised her because she starting choking on her drink.
“Really?! Oh Minh, you won’t be sorry. I just know you’ll love every minute of it.”
She jumped up and gave me a big hug and we started spinning and dancing in joy.
“Just think Minh! This could the best thing to happen to us ever.” She shouted. I agreed and laughed with her.
“Do you know who the other members are yet?” I asked, but she shook her head no.
“The email said that we’re gonna meet them this weekend and after that we’re gonna start training for our debut which is gonna be in two month!” she informed me. “We’re gonna move into their dorm next week too so we should start packing.”
