Recap:
Me?! Join a gang?!! He must be joking.. I can't get involved in some crew, it's not my style anymore.. but maybe just for now....

"Fine. But I follow my own orders and not just yours." I sigh.

"Ash, just what I wanted to hear from you. Welcome aboard." Geoff says, patting me hard on the back.
-----------------------
"Yeah yeah don't get too excited. I'm no better than before." I say as I lean against the counter closest to me.

"And yet you're still Los Santo's most wanted criminal." I hear and turn to meet the Mad King's teasing glare.

"And I haven't even been criminally active." I smirk.

"Then you must be a pretty bad criminal." He replies with a devilish grin. A hand lands on my shoulder and I turn to meet Mogar's eyes.

"Geoff can I borrow her for a second?" His voice a lot calmer than before. Geoff nods and I decide to follow Mogar. He looks at me for a second before his eyes sharpen.

"I don't really appreciate your attitude right now, but since Boss knows you, I'll let this little bit slip. Just be careful okay? I'd rather not see you murdered or... involved with any of my crewmen. Got it reptile?" He growls, a hint of concern in his voice. My eyes widen before I nod slowly.

"Just making sure I'm not seen as a weak and defenseless person. If it becomes a problem, just let me know Mogataur." I say as I giggle at his new little name as it popped into my head. His face turns slightly red of anger and embarrassment as he storms out. My eyes lock onto Geoff's as he sends me a look of sympathy.

"I'm just getting along greatly with your crew Boss." I sharply tell him, deciding on retiring to my room, the comforting sound of the lock echoing throughout the room.

"Y'know you're not trying to get to know us any more than we are." A voice causes me to jump. I snap around to meet the Mad King's unreadable expression. My urge to bolt to the door is abandoned as I remember that it's locked from the outside.

"Well I just don't see why I should." I answer as I lean back onto my bed, grabbing my blanket to wrap it around my shoulders.

"Well, you've got until that door opens to try to. I'm open to talk if you're open to listen." He smirks and leans on my table.

"Ashlyn, Ashlyn Kayl." I mumble as I lock eyes with him.

"Excuse me?" His gaze full of surprise and amusement.

"You want me to try and get to know you, I'd thought I'd start off by telling you my name." I say, my voice barely stuttering, but my eyes locked on his.

"Ryan, Ryan Haywood." He pushes himself off of my desk and sits next to me. My eyes land on the gun on his belt, but it is placed on his other side.

"Y'know I'm pretty sure Boss has placed Mogar to watch you. Doesn't like how you're acting." His voice doesn't hold any fear or anything, it's just... friendly. I sigh and place my head in my hands.

"Yeah," I sigh again, "yeah, he talked to me."

"Anything I can do to help?" I sense a presence on the other side of the door and hold my breath.

"Hey Boss have you seen the reptile?" The voice of the medic muffles through the door. Geoff's sighs allow me to breathe before Ryan's hand slips over my mouth, signalling for my silence.

"No, I haven't. But we need to prep her for initiation.." Geoff and the other man's footsteps fade and Ryan's hand slips off of my mouth.

"I forgot all about initiation..." He puts his head into his hands, rubs his temple and grabs something out of his pocket.

"C'mon let's go Ashlyn." He secures his hand tightly around my wrist, somehow opens the door and we slip into a different room.

"Ash is fine," I whisper before my brain finally remembers something, "hey wait how'd you get ou-" I'm cut off by his finger signalling for me to shut up.

"Explanations later, I promise. Now, let's get you ready for initiation.." He says and pulls out a bulletproof vest and a gun. Reloading the gun, his gaze falls on me.

"How comfortable are you with being shot, mugged or ran over?" He has a sarcastically smug smile on his face. I chuckle lightly before his eyes darkened slightly.

"O-Oh you were being serious..." I say and inspect the guns and ammunition he's got on the table.

What the hell were gang initiations supposed to be like...? I don't remember this part...
