The Next Hunger Games : Is Any Place Safe

I ran as fast as I could away from the hovercraft.  It was very fast.  I didn’t know that I did anything wrong.  I was just walking back from visiting my dad at the bakery when it started to follow me out from the woods.  Did Avian do something?  Avian is my seven year old brother. The hovercraft was still following me.  I ran to the school yard and I looked everywhere and couldn’t find him.  Don't attend school i'm sixteen and am hopeful that one day i will be a commander in the Rebellions army.There was only one other place he could be reading in the family room.  I slammed the door behind me as I entered our house in the Victors Village.  I was greeted by our dog Falcon.  I found him when I was six, the capitol had tried to fight back but we were to powerful but we were to late when they started the fires.  When we found Falcon he was a Golden Retriever puppy that had caught himself on fire.  I ripped off my jacket and raced towards him.  I jumped and wrapped the jacket around him as I tried to extinguish the flames.  He still has some small patches of fur that haven’t grown back yet.  he is the one person who seems to understand me.  Falcon likes to go hunting with me and has protected me from wild animals ad-least a dozen times.  I don't know what i would do without him.  of course when i walk into the family room there is Avian reading his book about the Hunger Games like always.  I contained my worry and anger i didn't want to scare him.  But me not scaring him would be hard.  The TV flashed on and a picture of the Capitol Symbol flashed on.  I washed in shook.  Then president Snow's Grandson was Introduced as Lava Snow. the new President of Panema, he told the Elaborate story of how President Paylor was killed when her security team disappered and they were later found in there lockers dead.  I was so scared, i ran into the kitchen right when my dad walked in.  My Mom was cookoing dinner.  My father is Peeta Mellark and My Mother is Katniss (Everdeen) Mellark, the survivors of the 74th and 75th Hunger Games.  I walked over and gave my dad a hug. Then i walked over to my mom gave her a hug and told her all about my encounter with the hovercraft and what happened on TV.  She dropped the glass bowl she was holding and ran over to my father the smile on his face went from a smile to a frown.  He ran to the family room and swooped up Avian my mom grabbed me by my wrist and pulled me to the garage.  She called Falcon's name and he ran towards us the next thing i know i'm strapped inside my fathers hovercraft and we are in the air.
