A personal short story

(This is just going to be one long chapter)

A while ago my moms best friend was having a party so me and my sister went since we hadn't seen them in a while.

It was really boring when we first got their. There was just a bunch of chicks, most younger than me. This one girl was there that was my same age. we go way back. Her name is Brianna when we were nine we would play tag and stuff like that. I hadn't seen her in like 8 years so I forgot about her. I kept staring at her because she looked so familiar and she caught my staring. I felt really embarrassed so I just gave up. She went to go play hide and seek with my younger sister and some other little girls. The girls told me if I wanted to play with them and I said yes.

This was the first time I seen more than just her face. She was pretty good looking like a seven out of ten. As we wore picking teams I heard her name for the first time. I finally remembered her. My sister and her against me and this little girl called Sophia and me. I don't know if you think this is weird but when she would fined me she would look at me and smile, I would smile back and if I was on my phone she always asked "who are u texting" or "what u doing on your phone" I didn't want her to know that I was updating a story on wattpad so I just told her "people" or "things". She would always laugh at my jokes even if they wore stupid. If they found me first then I would have to sit on the stairs and Brianna would always just sit there with me instead of looking for my other teammate.

This went on for a couple more hours till we all wore tired of running and hiding. I sit down on the long couch with my drink to cool down and she sits right next to me. Out of all of the seats in the living room she decides to sit right next to ME. She starts talking to me about school and about my classes. I felt really bad because I didn't notice her at first but she knew exactly who I was. Brianna used to have a crush on me,I know this because my sister told me a couple of years ago after a sleepover. My mom was my ride home so I couldn't stay longer. I said bye to everyone except for Brianna so I go up to her to tell her bye. She stands up and tries to hug me. I quickly walk back because I didn't want her to hug me. Instead I waved and said bye,I don't know why I didn't let her hug me. I felt like a dick.

When I finally get home I lay on my bed wondering when I was going to see her again, I wish I could apologized for being a total douche. I hope it won't be a couple of years before I see her again.
