Demi's POV

I watched as Justin beat Caleb to the ground. I saw Justin pick up Caleb's gun off the ground and I immediately got out of there. I didn't want to see another person die before my eyes.

BANG BANG BANG

I managed to get back on my feet and I ran out of there. I ran as fast as I could go.

A few minutes later, I started to slow down. I really need to start working out. Out of nowhere, a car came up beside me.

"Let me drive you home." Justin pleaded.

"No. I'm perfectly fine."

"Oh, really. Then what the hell happened back there." He smirked.

I ignored him and continued walking.

"Please, it's not safe for a girl like you to be out this late by yourself." He added.

"Fine." I rolled my eyes, getting into his car.

The car ride was silent. Justin would try and start a conversation with me, but I would always stay silent.

"Demi?"

"Demi?"

"Demi?"

"WHAT?" I finally replied.

"Jeez. Well, I wrote this song and I want you to hear it." He pulled out a CD and played it

I take every single piece of the blame, if you want me to

Cause you know that there is innocent one in this game for two

I go, I go then you go, you go out and spill the truth

Can we both say the words said forget this

Is it too late now to say sorry

Cause I'm missing more than just your body

Is it too late now to say sorry

Yeah I knooowww that I let you down, is it to late to say sorry now.

He paused the song.

"Demi look at me." I turned my head, so I was facing him. Small tears escape my eyes as I stare into his hazel ones.

"I'm sorry, okay. I never meant to hurt you. I just wasn't thinking and I regret it big time. Ryan told me how you were a distraction when it came to the gang. I have to admit, you were never a distraction, you only made me stronger. I  never loved Rachel, I love you Demi and I want you to be mine again." Justin admitted.

"I know you still have feelings for me, but I don't want to get hurt again. I've been hurt way to many times by guys like you. Plus, I'm perfectly fine with Nick and I wouldn't want to put our relationship on the line. I'm sorry."

"Well... um... we're at your place." He softly spoke.

I looked to see that I was finally home.

"Justin I-i"

"Save it. Just back go to your perfect boyfriend." Justin scoffed.

I sighed as I got out of the car. Justin sped off. I watched him from a distance as I slowly opened the door. I heard Nick in the kitchen. It seemed as is he was speaking to someone on the phone.

I eavesdropped on the conversation.

"Don't worry, everything will be fine. Just...please...Nobody has to know..
Okay... Goodnight." He hung up.

What does he not want anybody to know?

What's going on?

"Demi? Is that you?" Nick came out of the kitchen and hugged me.

"Who were you on the phone with?" I asked curiously.

"Oh...uhh...it was just this one of my clients from work. He wanted to know something about his car." He said.

"Aww, look at you, my hot mechanic." I pecked his lips.

He pulled me in for another kiss. This one was more deep. His lips isn't as soft as Justin's. Snap out of it Demi. You're with Nick now.

"Mmm, let's take this to the bedroom." Nick smirked, carrying me up the stairs to our bed.
