Kaylee's POV

Apartment searching has been a mess. Everything that I look at is either too expensive or really trashy looking.

I have to stop being picky. Well I went from living in a penthouse with Derrick in New York.

Right now I'm taking a cab to the last apartment that I'm looking at today. I have to take cabs for now because my car isn't coming for two more days and all of my stuff should be here tonight because I rented a big moving truck for all of my stuff.

Dallas is beautiful. I've been here a couple times because my grandmother used to live down here before she passed away. I miss her so much.

Getting out of the cab I was feeling a little excited because the apartment building from outside is beautiful and it's only 10 minutes away from the American Airlines Center.

Walking into the apartment I walked over to the reception office.

"Hello I'm Kaylee Brooks. I believe we talked over the phone about one of the apartments her." I said kindly.

"Yes hi sweetie. Apartment 9B right?" She asked.

"Yes I believe so." I said back.

"Okay I'll take you to check it out." She said while leading me up to the apartment.

When we got up to the apartment she opened the door with the key she had in her hand.

"As you probably know it has two bathrooms, two bedrooms, a kitchen, and a living space." She went on.

She started taking me around the apartment. It is huge. And the inside of each room is beautiful. There's also a small balcony leading out of the living room.

The kitchen is absolutely gorgeous. It looks like it has all new applications and granite counter tops.

After the whole tour she leaves and gives me some time to think about it want the apartment or not.

She told me the renting price. And it was perfect for my budget. And the apartment is beautiful. It has everything that I want for a reasonable price.

I walked back down to the office to talk to the lady.

"I'm going to take it." I smiled saying to her.

"Great when would you like to move in?" She asked me.

"As soon as possible." I said.

"Is today good?" She replied.

"Yes that's perfect." I said excitedly. I didn't think she would let me move in today.

"Okay well here's all of the paper work you have to fill out and here's the amount of money you have to put down as the first payment." She said.

"Great thank you." I said going to take a seat to fill out the paper.

She just nodded. It took me a couple minutes to fill everything out because I wanted me to make sure I read everything.

When I handed her to paperwork she handed me the key to the apartment and a spare key too.

"Thank you so much." I said to her.
