Listen here
There's something I've got to say
This will sound like a shocker
If I may
~
Things I've said
Things I've done
Were not all me
Me, I'm none
~
People change
People age
All throughout time
Don't expect the same
~
Thoughts are here
Thoughts are there
Sometimes they smile
Sometimes they scare
~
People have thoughts you know
Some good, some bad
Some sad, some glad
Do you want to know mine?
~
Mine are loud
Mine are not found
Mine come with a cost
Mine are forever lost
~
You're confused
I suppose, yeah I guess
But why all sudden
Do I look to you like such a mess
~
Have your eyes been closed
Has my mouth been shut
How would you have known
That there's been a knife in my gut
~
So please allow me to explain
Why there's been so much pain
It's just so hard to obtain
The blood running through my veins
~
Once upon a time
A girl had a father
A father nonetheless
But didn't know how much would bother
~
He got mad, oh so mad
He'd get angry
He worried the girl, and
He'd get scary
~
Father would grab her
Neck by throat
Hold her on the wall
Then later gloat
~
Father would spit
Father would drag
The fire he lit
Will light up her body bag
~
Father then mother
A little bitch
Like mother like daughter
She'll make her itch
~
Mother likes to scream
Mother likes to yell
She'd say to her she's not worth it
Oh the truths she'd tell
~
I guess mother also liked to punch
Hit and hit
Tell her she deserved more
Maybe just a bit
~
The girl is an orphan
No mother nor father
Is she happier
The happiest daughter
~
The girl is alone
Stuck in an ugly world
She hopes to find hope
While attempting to be furled
