Love and Despair ( King of Despair x Reader)

-Hello World-

As you and Leo speed off towards the church, you both notice the explosions occuring on the top of the building. You knew Despair was up to something. Leo looked at you occasionally, to make sure you kept up with him. You weren't the fastest runner around, but you were sure as hell were running fast, saving you from countless deaths. The necklace around your neck still glowed its red glow, giving you strength maybe. The ability to not be so worn out? Or was it your own determination for the worlds fate?

Your following thoughts drifted off, you didn't know how to feel about anything. Despair and you had a great bond but you couldn't just let him destroy the world. It was either the world or Despair, it's obvious what you chose. You chose the world.

The explosions were getting louder and scaring you half to death. Everything that was happening added on to your new anxiety of your surroundings. As a normal girl, you weren't use to all of this madness. On the otherhand, Leo was doing way better than you were in this situation.

The more you rushed faster and faster trying to catch up to Leo, you failed. Getting more scared and terrified.

As the church and everything started to crumble into glowing blue pieces, the world in your eyes turned black. You fell back and were passed out.

You open your eyelids open to see a blury figure standing next to you. The color of dark blue gave you the indication that it was Despair.

"You're finally up, (y/n)." Despair said crouching down to your figure.

You didn't reply to him. All you did was hug him, slightly surprising him a little.

You look over to see a man buried in debris starting to gain conciseness. Despair looked over at the man then back to you.

"That is Klaus v Reinhertz, an example of a pathetic human."

You stared at the man as he looked at you two with determination. Despair stood up and started speaking about how his vessel welcomed him in, you knew that wasn't the case. Black only let him in to save his sister, White.

" He looked like you do now, so have a peace of mind. Even if you die here... I'm sure the next you will keep you alive."

Despair weakly smiled at the man, known now as Klaus, as the sun started shining a bit brighter. You looked around, surprise at the sudden boost of light.

"I hate that idea!"

Despairs red orbs widened in shock as Leo appeared from the distance. You looked at Leo, he was very tired looking and panting hard. His face was shadowed as he continued to speak.

"Even what you are saying is right, to say it's okay for anyone to die then it's garabage!"

Leo opened his eye weakily to reveal his 'All Seeing Eyes of the Gods', shining a bright blue.

"Then what do we do? Are you going to really use that eye to kill me?"

You were stunned how not afraid Despair was of death. Leo just looked at him squinting, probably thinking of his next reply.

"I don't know. Maybe I should do that but I still don't know if it's the right thing to do... For me. So I'll keep thinking, as long as i'm alive. The next time we meet... I'll try to have a better answer for you."

The area started to shine as the sun risen from behind Leo. Emphasizing his speech to Despair very well. You look to see Klaus stunned and feel a few tears fall down your face as you look at Leo. Knowing Despair wasn't going to last with all of his hope.
