《prologue》

"Would you hurry up Luke?! I have a dentist appointment to attend!"

"Coming!"

Quickly grabbing his Columbia jacket and slipping on his converse, Luke swung his bag over his shoulder, making sure to grab his phone on his way out.

"Took you long enough, cabron." Valentina exclaimed with a roll of her eyes.

"Cabron? Um..yeah..no comprende." Luke bluntly responded passing by her.

Valentina snickered at his attempt of Spanish as she shut the door behind her and got in the car, immediately starting it.

"Buckle up slut, you know I'm a wild driver." She said clicking her own before putting on her black shades.

"How could I forget?" Luke joked back smirking.

Valentina raised both eyebrows, giving me that all too well known intimidating look that she pulled off well with her signature dark cherry lipstick.

"Échate ajo."

I could only assume she was insulting me considering she only ever spoke Spanish when she would get fed up with someone and felt the need to make them feel stupid by using an alien language to them. I decided not to ask what that meant so she wouldn't have a satisfaction of laughing at me.

She pulled out the drive way, smoothly asking, "Ready to stunt on these hoes?"

"You say that everyday." I retorted.

"Stop being such a weak bitch and let the inner hoe unleash." She said, letting her pearly whites show.

To others her words would seem insulting, but I've known Valentina since eighth grade and if there's one thing you should know about her, it's that she always has savage remarks to make and won't back down when it comes to confidence.

Today her hair was worn in two separate french braids that indicated of thick long, dark hair and a well put together outfit that showed off her figure nicely. Toned and fit with a spicy attitude was her motto.

Little did Luke know he was about to receive a motto himself.
