A sad death

"You have to eat the leaf" Cherryspots mewed.
"No! It's yucky!"
"Do you want to live"
"Yes"
"Then you have to eat it"
"Fine!"
Cherryspots was encouraging Leafkit to eat her medicine. Each day she only gets worse and worse. She probably only had a day to live. Or less....... All the clan could do was hope that she would recover. "Starclan, please help this kit" Cherryspots mewed. Pebblefrost came into the medicine den. "I just wanted to see if she's okay" Pebblefrost meowed. "I think she's going to die soon....." Cherryspots whispered quietly to her. Pebblefrost sighed. "She will be missed" She mewed.

"Please mommy! I want to go see Leafkit!" Moonkit pleaded. She really wanted to see her sister. The queen did not say anything. She just stared at the medicine den. "Whatever! I'm going to see her even if you say so or not!" Moonkit meowed. She ran off toward the medicine den. "Hi Cherryspots. I wanted to see Leafkit." Pebblefrost looked at Cherryspots with concern. "Umm.....only for a little while." Cherryspots mewed. "Okay!" Moonkit hurried over to her sister. "Hi!" Moonkit squeaked. "Hi.......M- M- Moonkit...." Leafkit struggled to speak. "I'm v- very happy to see y-..... She didn't say anything else. Her eyes were glazed and her breathing got slower. "What happened to her? Leafkit! Speak! It's me Moonkit!" The kit cried "Oh no....." Cherryspots whispered. "She....she didn't....." Moonkit started. "Umm...." Pebblefrost meowed. "She's dead isn't she?" Tears started to trickle down Moonkit's face. She ran out of the nursery as fast as she could, and before Cherryspots knew it, her den was filled with cats asking if it was true. And it was.....
