Nick P.O.V
I walk in to the bullpen and it look like a fight just went down. Sarge is pushing Fin back and a very familiar looking man is holding his face like he'd been hit. I walk over to Rollins.
"What just happened?" I laugh.
"I don't really know this man came in asked for Liv, when I tell her he's here she starts crying, runs full speed out of her office and into his arms. Then they start kissing, when Fin sees them he looks mad then the man goes to shake Fins hand but Fin punches him in the face. Liv broke it up and now they are yelling." she looks puzzled.
"I can't place it but I know this man" I tell her.
" Oh I thought that to then it hit me, it's her old partner what's his name Ethan? Eric? I can't remember, but I do know that she has a picture of them on her desk from what seems to be the '90s " She sounds curious .
"Oh yeah it's the only one with her and a man. Elliot that's his name." I remember her talking about him one drunken night.
"That's him! God your memory is great!" She laughs.
"What's he doing here? He obviously hurt her, from what everyone told me she was a mess for a long time after he left. Even sometimes to this day she gets depressed. when old memories are brought up." I hate the thought of her being like that.
"God Nick are you jealous?" Rollins smirks.
"No, I'm just looking out for my partner!" I laugh.
"He's her original partner..." She's right "Plus she looks happy to me" she states.
Whatever.
Liv P.O.V
In my office, I get El cleaned up. He had a pretty nasty cut where Fin hit him.
"So you were promoted?" He doesn't look surprised.
"Things change. Like I was promoted, Munch and Captain retired. That just leaves me and Fin. Wait let me introduce to everyone else." I'm so nervous I feel sick.
"Elliot Stabler this is my partner Detective 2nd Grade Nick Amaro. Nick this is Elliot my partner before you." You could tell Amaro was sizing him up. Don't try, he could take you down in a fight. I laugh to myself and everyone looks. I shake it off.
"Elliot this is Detective 2nd grade Amanda Rollins one of my amazing detectives. Amanda this is Elliot." She blushes as she shakes his hand.
"And last but not least Elliot this is Detective 2nd grade Sonny Carisi our newest member." They shake hands and exchange pleasantries.
"So Elliot what are you doing here?" Amanda asked because she's nosey.
"I actually came to see Liv. Most of you probably have no idea who I-" Carisa cuts him off.
"Actually we've seen pictures are heard some awesome stories. You guys were the dream team. Liv spoke of you seldom but others have talked about your "partnership". What is he talking about?
El P.O.V
I know exactly what he's talking about. I'll never say that out loud but inside I know that I love Liv. She's all that I have and all that I want. I can't believe they talk about us. We were only doing our jobs. The fact that we had chemistry and that I love her has nothing to do with it.
"You never talk about me?" I fake hurt.
"Why would I tell them about my former partner who abandoned me?" She trys to laugh it off.
"Olivia Serena Benson! I did not abandon you I left the job and I didn't know how to tell you so I just left." I'm mad.
