*jacobs pov*

I looked Lexi dead in the eyes as she was sitting on the ground being embarrassed in front of everyone. I picked up Chloe, who was still crying. I might add, and put her on my back like a piggy back.

"We don't half to go to school Chloe... It's almost summer any ways"

"Okay😢"

"Just one more week precious"❤️

*Some time later*

"Jacob, why are you still carrying me?"

"Because I'll do anything for you"

I looked up at her and smiled as if she was an angle looking over me, and protecting me from any thing that tried to bring me down.

"I don't care about my parents any more Chloe. Sometimes people change for the worst"

"I guess your right"

*At the house*

*chloes pov*

"Jacob?"

"Yeah?"

"Wanna make cinnamon buns?"

"Um...YES! I love them!"

Just then my mom walked in the door. She was drunk. It made me sad to see her like this. She slapped down money on the table. There was a big guy standing at the door waiting for my mom. "Chloe, be a good girl" she said in and drunk voice as she was wobbling still trying to stand up. I started breathing heavy and tears started rushing down my face. I ran up stairs in to the bathroom, I locked the door and laid in my claw foot bath tub. I could barely breathe or see anything my vision was blurry from the tears. Jacob ran up stairs. He was banging on the door do hard. Then I heard him run away I new he had a plan.

*jacobs POV*

I grabbed a Bobbie pin from Chloe's dresser, a big blanket and my pillow. I worked on the door until it finally opened. I saw Chloe peacefully sitting in the bathtub I walk over slowly and sat down with her. I put the blanket over us and the pillow behind us. We lied down and that's when I feel a sleep...when I woke up I saw Chloe lying on the flor lifeless...The last thing I saw saw was her bleeding...
