------ It was the day before his new story would begin to write itself. A new school, possibly new friends, and maybe love? Who knows, high school life in unpredictable.

The raven haired teen strummed the the strings of his accoustic guitar. His crimson eyes skimming the chords on the sheet of paper in front of him. A small hum slipped from his gentle lips, fully focused on the music in front of him.

Rogue had just moved across the country for his mom's job. His mother thought it would be a great opportunity for him, However she was incredibly, tremendously wrong. But he would never say that to her face, it would hurt her feelings.

As Rogue gradually made his way through the song, he began to tap his foot keeping a steady tempo.

"Our love will last longer than a life time.." he sang and carefully strummed the guitar strings in the correct pattern. A smile worked its way on to his face as he finished his "love song". His crimson eyes darted off his music sheet to the door when he heard the familiar "tap tap" of knuckles against wood.

At this moment he was alone in the house because his mother was busy with work (as usual). He let out a long sigh as he stood up and leaned his guitar against the wall, approaching his door slowly and exiting. (He was in no rush). Rogue gently closed his bedroom door on the way out, trying not to wake his small, green cat who lay beside it.

The cat's ears perked up, it's eyes meeting Rogue's before quickly stretching its small body.

"Morning Frosch" The raven haired boy said quickly as he made his way down the stairs and to the front door. He took a deep breathe as he placed his hand the knob and opened the front door.

"Welcome to the neighborhood" the stranger said as he put his hand out in front of him with the small hint of a smile. He waited for the male standing in the doorway to shake it, but it never happened.

"Thanks..... and who might you be.. exactly?" Rogue asked, not trying the sound rude. He questioned his people skills before hesitantly shaking the blonde's hand.

"Sting, Sting Eucliffe" He replied with a nervous chuckle as he scratched the back of his neck.

Rogue's eyes wandered from their hands, to which Sting was shaking very enthusiastically, to the boys magnificent ocean blue eyes. They sparkled like the stars reflection on the wild waves of the water. It was like, if you stared into them long enough you'd get lost in their depth.

"I-I'm Rogue, R-Rogue Cheney.." The shy boy managed to stutter out as a small blush crept across his pale face. Rogue pulled his hand away from the handshake before it became numb. He was secretly regretting opening the front door.

"Are you going to Skaia High?" Sting questioned as he placed a hand on his hip with sass.

Rogue couldn't help letting out a laugh as he looked out at the muscular blonde standing in front of him. "You're just going to have figure it out yourself. Good night Mr. Eucliffe," Rogue scoffed with a playful smile as he shut his front door in Sting's face.

"And good night to you, Mr. Cheney." Sting yelled loud enough for the raven to hear on the other side of the door. A smirk played across his faced as he turned around and walked back to home. Meanwhile, Rogue raced up the stairs and into his room. He pulled out a small journal and a pencil. As he placed the pencil to paper, he began to write:

"I haven't even lived in Magnolia for a week and....I think I made a friend? Possibly? Who knows..Hopefully it all ended well in the end"

There wasn't exactly much to write about.. His life wasn't that exciting. Rogue vowed that this year he would make his life more interesting. He threw his journal to the side and laid across his small twin bed. A yawn slipped carelessly through his lips as he slowly lost consciousness.

The obnoxious "BEEP BEEP BEEP" of his alarm clock sent him straight out of sleep mode and into a reality check 'Dammit..'. A super exaggerated groan escaped through his mouth and into the chill morning air of the room as he slammed his hand against the top of his stupid annoying alarm clock. He sat up as he stretched his arms with a quiet yawn. His small feline rubbed herself against his calf with a soft purr. Rogue pet her back gently as her back arched against his touch. A smile made its way across his face as he stood up and walked over to his dresser. The tall male rummaged through his top drawer and pulled out a tank top that read: A Shadow In The Sunshine.
Rogue quickly slipped the shirt over his head and grabbed a pair of shorts from of lower dresser drawer.
His cat lay perched on the top of his dresser. Her green fur, speckled with brown spots made her the weirdest cat around. But Rogue didn't care. He tended to love weird and abnormal things more that normal. A chuckle slipped through his dry lips as he closer his drawers and made his way down the stairs. Rogue searched his phone for a message from his mom. Ussually by now she would've sent him a message about school. A sigh escaped his lips as he reached the first floor and made his way to the kitchen.
There, sitting on the counter, lay a sticky note. He casually picked it up as he skimmed the note.
"Hey Roguey! It's Mama Bear. I had to leave early for work, so you have to walk to school. Oh, almost forgot. I cut up some strawberries and they're in the fridge. Have a good day sweet heart!♡
Love,
Mom"

Deep down, he knew this is what would've happened. The male placed the note back on the counter and walked over the fridge. He opened it, searching for the bright red fruit. And from the corner of his eye, he spotted it. Rogue quickly grabbed the cut fruit and held it in his hands, wide-eyed. Just as he was about to open the container, the door bell rung throughout his home.he sighed once again as he placed the strawberries down and walked over to the door. His hands reached fot the door knob and he opened it slowly, afraid of what might me on the other side. Lucky for him, thwre was nothing to he a afraid of.
"Hey, come on we're going to be late" said the blonde that stood in front of him.
"And the fact that I'm going to be late concerns you why exactly?" Rogue asked as he leaned against the door's frame. His red eyes scanned the blonde's for some emotion. He got nothing.
"Because, you live right next door to me, and it'd be a shame to be late on your first day" Sting replied with some attitude. Rogue sighed as he gave in.
"Let me get my stuff and I'll be right out"
