Castle; an unlikely partnership

Chapter 1

Stana's POV
'Beep beep beep' the horrible sound of my alarm. I really didn't want to get up but I knew I had to. Today we have to get our scripts for the new Castle episode. Every day started the same wake up, complain about having to wake up early, having a shower, brush my teeth, make coffee then the task of getting dressed and with that comes the never ending complaint that I have nothing to wear. I tried to keep my complaining to a minimum today because not only were we getting our scripts today but it's Friday. Andrew prefers to give us our scripts on Friday then we have the weekend to learn our lines then we spend Monday- Thursday shooting. I honestly don't have plans this weekend so I have no idea why I am excited but a girl can dream. Right? I did the usual bathroom routine and went downstairs in my robe to get some coffee. I always had my favourite, a caramel latte. Once I made my coffee I went back upstairs and stared at all my clothes for a good ten minutes and decided to go with dark wash skinny jeans with a light grey shirt and a leather jacket along with black  suede ankle boots. I went in to my bathroom and started my beauty routine, first was my hair I honestly couldn't be bothered today so I just threw it up in a high ponytail. I applied light foundation with mascara and lip balm. Pretty but simple. Once I was ready I went downstairs and grabbed my light brown bag and went to set. It is only a ten minute drive from my house. Once I arrived I was greeted in the usual way, by everyone. Once I got inside I headed to our almost meeting room it is like a meeting room but the only time people are in there are to get scripts. I walked in and saw Tamala and she raced up to me and gave me a big hug "Morning girl, you look amazing" she said sweetly to me. "Thanks so do you" I replied with a smile on my face. My eye caught Nathan's from the other side of the room. I felt butterflies in my stomach but I just dismissed it as I had done for nearly a year now. Unfortunately it was getting harder and harder these days. Andrew shushed us all and began to speak " Morning everyone, happy Friday. Shooting went incredibly well this week I am so happy with everyone cast and crew we done in two days which is a record for us. Now the basics for this episode. So a young girl is murdered an found in an alley way. Turns out her ex husband killed her for custody of their kid. Kate an Rick have an argument about getting a new place to live long story short Kate wants to move but Rick doesn't. All in all they don't move. Ok that's it grab a script and go home, have a good weekend everyone." As soon as Andrew had finished his blab about the new episode I walked over to Nathan and asked if he wanted to hang around and go through their argument scenes because I really wanted to nail it. Because the last argument our characters had was back in season 4 and I practiced for two weeks before to get it just right. He delightfully accepted my offer.
We began to go through and we did one of the scenes. " This is gonna take us ages" I said "Yes it will we will be here all day at this rate" he replied. After a couple of moments of silence I spoke up and said " How about we go back to my place and practice?" Wow I blurted that out. Butterflies irrupted in my stomach waiting on his response.
