Kym leapt back from the camera, her eyes wide. Ben lurched forward, and dropped the camera. The line was washed down into the gaping mouth of the drain. "He's down there." Kym managed. "We gotta get him out." Suddenly, Ben whirled to face her. "If he's down here, and the other boy's drowned, then who's the boy that attacked us at the shack? It couldn't have been either." Kym considered this. "What did the boy that attacked us look like?" Ben raised his eyebrows. "I don't remember. It was dark." Suddenly, Ben shrieked and plummeted off the dock into the drain. Kym felt a hard shove against her as well and she, too, tripped off of the dock and into the swirling depths below.
Kym grabbed for anything she could, desperately trying to get enough air before she was completely submerged. The sides were slippery and covered in algae, so she couldn't use them to pull herself up. She looked around, and found that Ben was floating on his back in the center. "Ben!" She gasped. The boy didn't respond. Then, as quick as lightning, Ben was sucked under. Gone. Kym felt a tug on her legs. She tried to fight it, but with nothing to hold onto, she found herself being tugged under the water.
Utter blackness. Thats's what Kym saw. All the oxygen had been sucked from her lungs, and her eyes stung. "You didn't help me." Kym could hear a voice at the bottom of the drain. It was Toby. She gasped. "I tried!" Then she submerged again. "Idiot!" Came Ben's voice. Kym reached the bottom of the hole. She could see Ben and Toby facing each other, growling. "I'll never forgive you, Ben." Toby seethed. Ben lurched back. "Behind you..." Kym looked over. Directly next to her were two boys. One wearing a grey shirt and one wearing a red polo.
"It's you..." She mumbled. The one in grey waved and smiled. "Hi! Your name is Kymmy." It's face suddenly elongated, turning into a thin, grey oval. It's eyes bulged and the pupils disappeared. It's mouth became the length of half of its face, and it's nose shrank and vanished. Then it screamed. It was a low, almost completely silent sound. As it was, it sounded like a rumbling vibration. Kym was thrown backwards. The darkness. Again.
She awoke next to Ben, who was tilted on his side. His mouth hung open, and a trail of blood ran down his shirt. "They drowned him." Kym realized. She began to sob. She had lost her brother. Ben was gone. Wiping her eyes, she stood quietly. "Kymmy!" Kym lurched to face the boy. He was still smiling. He had been smiling even through his other face. "I wanna play." He screamed again. This was louder than the last, and Kym planted her feet to keep it from knocking her out. "I'm sorry. I don't want to play with you." She whispered. The boy hunched over and screamed again. A trail of blood spouted from his mouth, his jaw completely unhinged. Toby and the dead boy appeared behind the screaming boy. "Help me..." Kym gasped, her mouth covered in scrapes and blood. "We can't help you, Kym." Toby said flatly. "This is your fate. Your brother died at the hands of Death, you will die at the hands of Terror. I am Betrayal. Kym fell towards Terror, her arms and legs shaking. She spat blood on he soaked ground. Terror's face preformed the transformation again.
Kym could still hear the screams echoing in her ears as she fainted. The low, metallic, groan that Terror produced every time he opened his mouth. She had awoken several hours ago, and now lay next to her dead brother, sobbing. Suddenly, a loud BOOM shook her to her feet. She looked up. Cracks had appeared in the ceiling. She could hear the rushing of water under the moaning of Terror. Death and Betrayal ran into her chamber, grins on their faces. "Just in time." Death growled. His eyes swirled in unhinged direction, and his mouth twitched and slipped around. Betrayal pushed Kym to the ground. He used his own shoelace, the one that had nearly drowned him, to tie her to a protruding rock. "The ceiling's collapsing, Kym." Betrayal whispered. "You can die right here. Right next to your brother."
