Wind thrashed against her pale cheeks. She sighs.
"Be back for 8pm!" Mum said, worriedly.
"Okay, I'll be fine..." Charlotte replied.
She gently closed the door and stepped out onto the frosty grass. She wriggled her toes inside of her brown ugg boots. Her hair was already swaying in the minty breeze. She wore tall brown ugg boots, black ripped jeans, a plain black t-shirt, a red scarf and a green coat. She owned a male black pug, Bryce. He was always bright and bubbly but often sleepy. Charlotte came to a halt at the end of her drive. She turned her head, pulled a smile and waved goodbye to her Mum who was sat by the window. It took a while before she decided where she was going. She began to feel quite peckish as she turned to look at a town map, before where the woodland started. The woodland park. The woodlands was her favourite place to be; peaceful and gentle. Each step leading to the rustling of the leaves. It was quite often the place she spent time when she was sad. She sat down onto the bench her and her Grandma shared before her time had passed. Charlotte was lost in thought. She had secrets she dared tell nobody. A kind gentleman passed, he asked if she was all right.
"Im not too sure." Charlotte mumbled. He stared into her supple brown eyes.
"Why are you staring at me?" She asked. Silence.
"I like looking at beautiful people." He smirked.
He sat on the bench beside her. He gave her a smile.
"Im Caspar. What's your name?" He said.
"Charlotte."
"Thats a beautiful name." Caspar whispered.
He took a maple leaf off Charlottes head that had fallen.
"Hey, do you want to go get Starbucks?"
She nodded and smiled. He reached for her hands and pulled her up. They walked to the end of the woodlands whilst introducing themselves.Soon enough, they reached Starbucks. They ordered and sat at a bench, watching the waves roll in and out.
