"Jotaro." Professor Oak approached the 17 years old lad. He holds the lad's shoulder. "I'm sorry to say this, but there is no more pokemon available for you." Professor Oak continued as he looked down, his face filled with disappointment. Not with Jotaro, but with himself. He was supposed to help young trainers to give one pokemon when they decided to go on Pokemon journey. "I see." The lad on his 17th held his hat, a memento from his beloved mother.

He turned his back against the old pokemon professor and was about to leave. "Wait!" The professor stopped him. He came back few minutes later with a pokeball carved with 'M' on it. "Here you go, a masterball." Oak put the ball into the youngster's hand. "Masterball? As far as I know, this ball can catch any pokemon without fail. And you supposed to give me one when I beat elite four, right?" Jotaro voiced his awkwardness.

"You really did your homework, Jotaro." The professor praised him. "I gave it to you since I got no pokemon to give. Go ahead and catch one in the wild, I'm pretty sure your knowledge about pokemon will help too." He smiled as he waved the young boy a goodbye.

Jotaro walked towards tall grass, hoping to encounter some wild pokemon. But, lady luck was not in his side. He had to end his first day staying at the pokemon hotel. "I wonder what kind of pokemon will I get."

Day by day, he searched far and wide. No wild pokemon make their appearance before him. He had to decline all the pokemon battle invitation he received. "Guess, I had to end my search for today." He sighed while looking at the sunset. He put his hands into his jacket's pocket and walked towards the nearby town.

Just then, the grass rustled. 'What's that?' Jotaro noticed the moving grass behind him. He looked around him, searching for a way to run, just in case. The masterball can only catch one pokemon and it would be bad news for him if the pokemon is in group. A small buneary, a rabbit pokemon showed up, looking restless. "It just you, little girl." Jotaro sighed as he turned his back against the pokemon.

The long ears of her suddenly picked up something. "Bue Bue." The small pokemon tried to tell him something. "You are mine, little one! Tyrant! Chomp it to pieces!" A blonde guy yelled. The out-of-nowhere sharpedo obeyed the command and rushed towards the small Buneary. The sharp jaws of it ready to grind the rabbit pokemon into minced rabbit meat.

"What happen? Why do you stop? " he rushed towards the scene. To his surprise, the rabbit pokemon somehow turn into a large boulder. "What? I'm sure the bunny is here." He looked around the area. "Yare yare daze. What in the world you're trying to do?" Jotaro held his hat. "Who the fuck are you? And the pokemon in your hand, is mine!" The blonde man in his 30s pointed the buneary that was in the hand of Jotaro. "I have no obligation to answer your question nor giving this little one to you." Jotaro stood up, holding the small pokemon close to him.

"Very well. Tyrant! Finish them all! Mega Chomp!" The blonde man gave his Sharpedo the command. The shark pokemon obeyed as it rushed towards Jotaro with an open jaws, ready to swallow both Jotaro and Buneary. "Yare yare daze. Looks like you had pushed me to do this." Jotaro looked down. Without second thought, Jotaro punched the real life Jaws monster, screaming "Ora!" when dealing the blow. The shark flew away and hit a nearby tree from the impact.

"W-what?!" The blonde man was in shocked. He could not believe a normal human being could hit a large pokemon like Jotaro did. "Tyrant! Return!" He faced the ball towards the fainted pokemon. The Sharpedo immediately went inside the ball via red light guidance. "You, who are you?" The blonde man grit his teeth. "Jotaro." He answered short. "Alright, when we meet again, it will be your doom, Jotaro!" The blonde man put his pokeball into his pocket and vanished.

"You're fine now." Jotaro put the bunny pokemon down on the ground. "Bue Bue." Buneary was happy and bounced on it little feet. "I guess I end up my search for now." Jotaro gripped his masterball as he looked at the orange sunset. The young pokemon noticed Jotaro was holding a pokeball and poked it. "Bue Bue." It kept poking. "Hmm? What is it?" Jotaro picked it up and held in his arms. The pokemon pointed to the purple pokeball Jotaro held on his right hand.

"You wanna be my pokemon?" Jotaro smiled. The bunny nodded while making happy cry. "Very well." He put it down on the ground. He stood in front of it and flash the ball towards it. The red light quickly captured the pokemon. First shake. Nothing happened. Even if he used masterball, which is said able to catch any pokemon perfectly, it still make his heart throbbing madly. The masterball actually have a low chance to fail in capturing pokemon. Second shake. Nothing unusual happened. Third shake. Yes! He got his first pokemon.

He smiled and picked up the ball before releasing the pokemon. He kneeled down to meet eyes to eyes with his partner. "My name is Jotaro, hope we can get along in the journey." Jotaro gave it a smile. The Buneary hopped and hugged it's new master.
