"Wake up, Rebecca! My mom screamed. it's the first day of school but this isn't just any first day,this is the first day of high school. Any teenage girl would be excited but I'm nervous and scared. School was never my friend.
"Mom pleaseeeee" i whimpered in hope that she'd give in.
"Nope that's it now cmon get up"
"But mom."
She flashed me a look and said "what's this about?"
My cheeks flushed into a red shade as I said "nothing I just don't want to go I mean does anyone?"
"Actually yea the first day of highschool is exciting teenage girls are jumping up and down all around the world right now" after saying this serious yet sarcastic sentence she looked at me and chuckled.
"I wished I could just blurt out why I didn't want to go, but then she'd never look at me the same or at least I thought."
