Chapter 2

I thought about the strange encounter with the old man all night and after thinking for two days. Maybe I should try. I mean there is nothing to lose anyways.

I decided to go and started to pack. If he is right and he could take me into Hakuouki world, what would I need?

I stared at myself in mirror. I need to look like a man. I mean they won't let me join if I'm a woman. I walked to the dresser a took out three bandage rolls and chucked them in the bag.

I then collected my toiletries. My shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, toothbrush, toothpaste, mouthwash, shaving cream, razors, tampons, pads, body lotion, perfume, deodorants, cosmetics and wrapped them in plastic hanger and laid it in the bag.

After that I took out some new panties set and two bras, just in case. And put them in the bag too.

"Now, if I can go there, I could save their lives. First medications for souji." I told myself.

I took my keys and wallet and carefully jumped out of my window. I ran to the hospital near our mansion. There are lots of specialists there and I could ask them.

I walked in the hospital and to the receptionist.

"I would like to have an appointment with a pulmonologist." I smiled sweetly.

"You can have a appointment after three days, ma'am." She said as she checked the schedule.

I let out a disappointed signed, "I need an appointment right now." I took out my wallet and took out 10 thousand dollars and slide it to her desk.

"Are you sure there is no appointment right now." I emphasized on now and saw her eyes darted to the money and me. And finally she nodded.

"Let me check again, ma'am. Oh! I'm sorry there is an appointment in two minutes." I let out a satisfactory smirked and nodded. She slyly took the money and led me to the lungs specialist's room.

"Thank you." I whispered and went inside.

Inside a doctor was sitting, "Hello."

"Hi. I need to consult something about tuberculosis." The doctor nodded and motioned me to sit. I did.

"Can it be cured if we knew it in first stage?"

"Of course, but we don't know till it reaches 3rd stage."

"How can we cure it? Like any medicines?"

"Yes, but a good rest and good food would help a lot."

"Can you write down the names of medications needed?" I bit my lip hopefully.

"I'm sorry. I cannot give prescription without seeing the patient. It's against law."

"Please, it would be great help." I tried again but the doctor shook his head.

"Name your price, doctor."

"Look, I'm not-" "20 thousand dollars" "I-" "50" "You're-" "70 thousand dollars doctor, think about it." I waved the money in front of his face.

"Alright." I smiled as he wrote down all the name and doses and finally his signature. I gave him the money and took the prescription and left the hospital.

Next stop, drug store.

I came to drugstore and bought all the medicines.

"Excuse me, Can you please give me some painkillers, flu medicines, burn and sprain healing ointment too."

"Let me guess, stocking up the first aid kit?" The clerk smiled. I nodded.

"Here, I can put necessities too if you want like band aids etc."

"That would be great." I smiled charmingly.

I took the paper bag and and left after paying. That souji better be thankful. I just bribed two people for him.

I went to home and sneakly climbed up to my room.

I put the medicines in the bag too. Now some clothes, I can't put any shorts or skirts or dresses. I decided to put two tshirts and two trousers.

Alright, now I need some kind of weapon. I can't fight with sword but I can shoot. I know what I need. I walked quietly to the elder witch's room and saw she wasn't there. of course, the bitch is in the meeting. I walked to her safe and smirked.

I know you might be thinking why am I smirking, well what would the witches do if they find all their gold and gun gone. I opened the safe, nee-chan told me the password before. And saw lots of money and papers inside. And beside them was a pistol and a wooden box. No doubt, bullets. I took the gun and bullets and also half of the gold. I mean the money will not be needed but if I sold the gold I would gain some money. I quietly closed the safe and went back to my room. I put all the items in the bag too. Then I remembered that taser nee-chan once bought me and chuck it in too.

I put my pair of running shoes, my ipod, power bank and solar charger. Satisfied with my work I closed the bag.

And now for the final step. I walked to my dresses and took out my scissors. I cut my hair. I swear if that old man is pulling a prank I would murder him.
