The rumors had been circling around the camp all-day.

"Kane is gonna be executed," They whispered to each other everywhere Abby went. She didn't want to believe it. He was strong, and all he had done was for the safety of the camp yet no one else could see it.Their minds were twisted by Pike, who was going to get them all killed.

She waked into the empty council room, pacing trying to find a solution. Maybe she could go instead of him. This camp needed him, but they didn't need her, they had Jackson. Before she could stop them, tears were rolling down her cheeks. Suddenly, she heard the door open, and heard 3 people walked in. She quickly wiped her tears and turned around.

"Abby," Marcus stood there 2 guards surrounding him, his hands bounded by tight handcuffs.

"Is this really your last wish before you die?" The guards made fun of him

"Yes,it is now please uncuff me and leave" He said,strictly. The guards snickered and left the room.

"Marcus," She whispered as she stepped closer to him, worry and fear in her eyes, "What were you thinking?

"I was thinking about the number of people who would die if Pike didn't give himself over," He argued.

"And you didn't think about the fact that they could catch you ?!" She raised her voice, filled with anger and pain.

"Yes, I did, Abby, but that didn't matter, the people in this camp's lives go before mine. I thought you would support me through this!"

"I do, it's just that I don't want you to die," Her eyes watered again, " I won't let this happen to you!" She tried to convince herself as she put her forehead against his and he wiped away her tears.

"I need you," She whispered, and he pushed her face away to look at her. His eyes wide with surprise, as if her feelings for him had been hidden this whole time. "Did he think the kiss on the cheek was something I did with everyone?" She thought to herself.

Suddenly, his lips were on hers and his hands were cupping her face. For a second, she didn't react, then she slipped her hands in his hair and kissed him back. She couldn't believe this was finally happening, she'd been hiding her feelings for him since she had saved him in the cave.

Someone cleared their throats and they sprang apart from each other. Octavia was standing there, a smirk on her face, "Glad to know you guys finally got it together, the whole camp's known you were in love for months, but we gotta go."

"Wait what's going on?" Marcus and Abby looked at each other, confused. Neither of them knew what was going on.

"I'll explain on the way, we need to get Marcus out of this camp. Follow me," She sneaked out of the room, stepped over the passed out guards who had previously been holding Marcus.

They went to the secret entrance, without being noticed, and pushed open the door. Marcus stepped in, and was about to get away when Abby whispered his name.

"Marcus, I-"

"I know, I love you too,"

"Be safe, may we meet again." She kissed him hard, trying to put all her emotions into. How much she loved, how she needed him, how much he had helped her since they had landed.

He pulled away, "May we meet again," He replied and sneaked away.

Abby watched as he got away. She could hear her heart breaking, not knowing if he would be okay or not.

Octavia put a hand on the doctor's shoulder, trying to comfort, and she smiled slightly. They pushed the door closed.

"May we meet again, Marcus, May we meet again," She thought as she walked back to her, unsure of what would happen next.
