Chapter 4

So this is the part I've been WAITING to write. Hope you guys like it!!! And I've written this so that Chat is in a panicked mind set. His sentences are short because of this. I hope my writing doesn't confuse people into thinking I'm that bad of a writer. Thanks!

~Quick recap~
Ladybug and Chat Noir are fighting Forget-me-not. Ladybug was thrown against a wall and was injured. She continues the fight but is extremely dizzy and her head hurts. She uses her lucky charm. A few minutes later they have Forget-me-not tied up. Ladybug's vision goes black...

~Chat's POV~

"MY LADY!!!" She starts to collapse. I run to her falling body and try to help her stand again. No. She's completely lost it. Her knees giveaway and her weight collapses in me. No. Why is this happening. She should've listened. Now she's hurt and isn't responding. She could be...

"LADYBUG PLEASE!" I yell in desperation. She turns colder by the second. I wrap her in an embrace. Think fast. Act quick. I pick her up and hold her bridal style... I run.

*BEEP BEEP BEEP* one dot disappears, leaving the one in the center all alone. No no no nononononoNONONO!!! As I sprint, she she starts to move. I stop in an alleyway.

The streets are so busy. Busyness mean people-people means prying eyes-prying eyes means we will be followed anywhere and everywhere. I mean who wouldn't follow us? I'm one of the most famous superheroes of Paris running around carrying the unconscious Miraculous Ladybug!

Oh god. I'm panicking. I have to calm down or I'll act on instinct and we all know that's bad. Ok. I've land in a dark alleyway just off of a busy street. THINK FATHEAD!........... I've got it. But no, there has to be another way. She'll hate me if I do this! But it's the only thing I can think of!

AGHHHHH!!!!!!!! I've decided to do it. With seconds before she transforms and a few prying eyes, I lay on top of her and shield her from the world.

*BEEP BEEP BEEP* And with that, her suit and all that shields her identity fade way to nothingness. All except me. I feel her breathing and sigh in relief. I shut my eyes and hold her tightly, afraid she might fall apart if I let go.

We stay like this for a while. Her heartbeat safely pumping against my chest, my hand protectively around her. Relief floods my body as I hear a soft moan escape her mouth. She squirms a little in my grasp, but I just squeeze her tighter.

"Ughh.. Chat?.." My eyes shoot open and I jump at her ability to speak so soon. That's when I realize that I had made the biggest mistake in my life. Marionette stares at me, her blue eyes clouded with pain but full of wonder. I'm stupid. I'm so so stupid to not realize this. The hair, the eyes, the voice, the fact she's never there when ladybug is, how they act towards me. It all matches.

Her eyes widen and her eyebrows go up. She quickly looks down at herself and snaps her head back to my eyes. She puts a hand to her head and steadies herself. I snap out of the trance that is her beauty and help her.

"Don't move so quickly. You were just unconscious. Take it easy, my lady." She blinks a few times, and looks at me. Her eyes are glossed over with fresh tears and my ring beeps its final warning.

"Chat leave me and get home. You have to go before anyone sees you."
"No, Mari. We're in this together, remember?" And with that I pull her towards me and kiss her. She doesn't react at first, I guess shocked by my amazing kissing skills 😉 but then she leans into me.

*BEEP BEEP BEEP* white light flashes around us and I'm left in my normal clothing and my lips locked to Marionette's. We part and she gently opens her eyes to my smiling face. Her mouth drops wide open. She laughs a little and puts a hand to her head.

" I guess I did hit my head really hard cause I'm seeing Adrien Agreste in front of me! Hahaha..haha..ha..... Why arn't you laughing?" I chuckle and hold her to my body.

"Cause this is real. This is really real!" Even I am still shocked at this turn of events. Well I guess this is what I get for being so stupid. "Oh yeah! Happy 5th Anniversary, my lady." I grin. A quick squeeze and a kiss on her head tells her my true feelings. I can tell she's still confused, but she smiles.

"Happy Anniversary, Kitty!" She grabs my face and kisses me. Wait... SHE'S KISSING ME!!! Omg what do I do? How did she..? When did she get so confident?! Wait she's Ladybug! And with that I pull her towards me even more, kissing her like my life depends on it.

Best. Anniversary. Gift. Ever.
