And to pick up where we left off.

"You lost the bet!" Temari crow in victory. "NO! Please! Please, Temari! "I'm sorry (Y/N), but you lost the bet!" Her voice is gentler, but still has her victorious sneer in it. "Okay, I know all right. I just don't see why it has to be Konkuro." I grumble. "Because. We decided brother or friend of the guy you have a crush on." "Give me a piece of paper and pencil." I sigh. "Oh, no. You have to tell him in person." Temari smirks. "What!" I scream. "Come on." She laughs. I follow her mumbling preposterous, she never said and so not fair. I lift up my head and spot Konkuro. I run up to him.
"Hey, squirt!"
"I love you!"
I run off then leaving him in a dazed state.
"I can't believe you made me do that!" I yell.
Temari laughs and answers. "Did you see the look on his face! It was priceless!"
I remember and laugh as well. "I wish we could have seen him like that without his makeup!" We reach the place we usually train and decide why not. Temari leaves after a while and I start to practice by attacking a stump. After a while of training I become in groused in it. Then I notice someone behind me and try to attack him or her. I blink and see Gaara. "Oh! Hey! Gaara I am so sorry!" I apologize, then I register he's glaring at me. He hasn't glared at me like this since we met. He presses me against the stump and puts his hands on either side of my head.His eyes are like daggers drilling holes into my very being.
"Gaara...?"
"Why did you do it?" He hisses. "Why?"
"Do what?" I reply, feeling completely oblivious. Then it hit me.
"What I said to Konkuro wasn't true. I lost a bet to Temari." I quickly explain my reasoning. He freezes. I can't tell what he's thinking or even what emotion he's feeling right now!
"Why does it matter?" I ask.
His eyes become like daggers thicker then steel and colder then ice. Whoops, wrong question. (A/N) I believe that is called an epic fail.)
"Because I love you!" He shouts. I stand there frozen staring into his teal eyes. He seems shocked at his own words. I only seeing two emotions in his eyes. Love and...regret. He turns around and stared walking away. I unfreeze myself.
"Wait! Gaara, I love you too!" I shout.
He turns half-way around to face me.
"Then why didn't you say so earlier?"
"Because I was shocked that someone as wonderful as you could like someone as horrible as me." I answer begging him to believe me.
"I love you." He says again.
"I love you too."
He walks over, leans down and wraps me in his arms.
"Look at me."
I look to my left instead. He lifts my chin up with his thumb and forefinger.
"Don't ever say that about yourself. You are most amazing person I have ever met or will meet. You are beautiful, kind, caring, gentle, fierce, compassionate, dangerous, and most of all loving. If anything I don't deserve you."
He leans down and captures his lips with mine. I don't care if he's socially awkward. He's cute. He came over here and was furious just because he thought I have a crush on Konkuro. I love him. We'll always be here for each other no matter what. When we break the kiss I say one thing. "You'll always be my panda."
