The Jinchuriki's Light

Chapter 3

-1 month later-
-Hikari's P.O.V.-
I have been living here with Naruto for about a month now. Using first wish I had made to be able to talk to Jinchuriki and the Tailed Beasts I was able to let Naruto meet Kurama. Turns out Kurama isn't that bad. The day after we arrived I put the seal that I wished for on Naruto which allows me to transport to him and sense if he is in trouble. The seal is called, Yujin o Mamorimasu. Now I am thinking about going to Suna and finding Gaara. I know his past is also very sad and lonely. I am walking to Naruto's house to discuss my idea. I knock on his door and I hear footsteps and a moment later the door opens and arms around me.
"Good morning Hika-nee!"
"Good morning otouto." I smile as I hug him back. "I need to talk to you" I say seriously.
Naruto looks at me and asks, "What's wrong." I enter his house and we go to the living room and sit on the couch.
"I'm going to Suna." I say and Naruto's eyes widen.
"You're not leaving me are you!" He asks tears threatening to fall.
"NO! Of course not! I would never leave you!" I say alarmed. "Remember how I told you there were other jinchuriki?" He nods his head yes, "Well there is another one in Suna named Gaara, and I wanted to go see if he wanted to come here. I mean you two are both Jinchuriki, so you understand each other." I say as I tried to calm the boy down.
"Can I come with you Nee-chan?" Naruto asks with tears still in his eyes.
"Of course you can. I'm not about to leave you here alone." I smile.
He smiles back, "When are we leaving?"
"I was thinking tomorrow morning. It'll take about 8 days to get there." I tell him. Naruto nodded and left to go get packed. I went to my room to pack as well.

Naruto met me at my house and we went downstairs to the ground. "You ready to go?"
"Yeah!" He shouts excited about the thought of meeting another Jinchuriki.
"Then let's go!" I fist pump the air and Naruto laughs a bit at me. I smile at him. We traveled for eight days and at the moment were in the desert. I had made sure to refill all the canteens to get as much water as water I could get before we entered the desert. We could now see the walls of Suna. I could tell that Naruto was about to run ahead, but I grabbed the back of his cloak to stop him.
"We will have to sneak in. We don't want anyone to know that we're here." I told him.
He rubbed the back of his head sheepishly, "Oh yeah, sorry I forgot."
"It's okay. we just have to be careful." I did a transformation jutsu and instructed Naruto to do the same. Over the last month I made sure to teach Naruto the Transformation Jutsu and a Chakra control. I transformed into a 8 year old girl with brown hair and blue eyes, and Naruto transformed into a boy with brown hair and brown eyes. We walked up to the gates acting like scared little kids.
One of the guards saw us and approached, "What are you kids doing out here?" the guard asked. Naruto hid behind me. I could tell he was actually a bit scared of them. I mean the last village he was in was Konoha and they abused him. I squeezed his hand and looked up fearfully at the guards, "W-We w-were t-traveling w-with Tou-san a-and K-Kaa-san when b-bad m-men came. T-Tou-san K-Kaa-san." I cried. Naruto buried his head in my back.
The guard looked at us with pity, "I'm going to take you two to the Kazekage alright." We nodded our heads and followed the guard into the city. Naruto held my hand and looked around fearfully, like he was expecting the villagers to suddenly start attacking him.
I pulled him into a side hug, "Don't worry I won't let anyone hurt you." I whispered. He relaxed slightly, but was still on edge. The guard took us to the biggest building there which and took us inside. We went up flight after flight until we reached a door. The guard knocked on the door and we heard a come in. The guard brought us inside where we continued to act scared. When the Kazekage saw us he asked, "Why are these children doing here?" He asked seriously.
"They were outside the gates, apparently they were traveling with their parents and were attacked." The guard informed. The Kazekage looked at us sadly.
"What are you're names?" He asked.
"I-I'm R-Rin and t-this is my l-little b-brother Kaito." I answered. He was about to speak when a boy with red hair came into the room holding a teddy bear. 'Gaara' I thought.
"Gaara, what are you doing here?" His father the Kazekage asked coldly.
"I-I'm sorry father." Gaara said quietly. I nudged Naruto to get him to look at Gaara. His eyes widened when he realized what I was trying to tell him. Gaara was the other Jinchuriki.
The Kazekage looked at us then at Gaara, "Why don't you two stay with Yashamaru?" The Kazekage asked.
"Y-Yashamaru?" I asked even though I already knew who he was.
"He's Gaara's guardian." Rasa (Kazekage's name) explained. Naruto and I nodded our heads before turning to Gaara. He hugged his teddy bear tighter and looked at the ground expecting us to hate him.
Naruto and I approached Gaara, "H-Hello, Gaara." I said smiling slightly at him. His head snapped up at me. He was probably surprised I didn't call him a monster or something.
"H-Hi?" He sounded a bit unsure.
Naruto smiled a bit at him, "I-I'm Kaito."
"My name is Gaara." The Red headed Jinchuriki said shyly. Naruto nodded. "I'll take youj to my house okay?" We both nodded and followed Gaara. As we were walking everyone looked upon the small child with hate, fear, and disgust. I wanted to beat the shit out of all of them, but of course I restrained myself. We arrived at the house as the sun was begining to set.
"Yashamaru! I'm home!" Gaara called seeming a bit happier. Knowing what will happen in the future made my heart hurt. I'm going to some how prevent that whole tragedy from happening. I can't let Gaara break.
"Welcome back Gaara, and who are these kids?" Yashamaru smiled as he looked at us curiously. Naruto hid behind me again.
"Father said that they will be staying with us for a while." Gaara answered for us. Yashamaru nodded and smiled at us.
"Well we are just about ready to have dinner if you would like to wash up before we begin the restroom is upstairs and the first door to your right." Naruto and I bowed before heading upstairs to wash up.
"Nee-chan, what should we do?" Otouto asked me.
"Let's observe for now." I say as I finish washing my hands. We head back downstairs and the table was set with bowls of Ramen in 4 places. Naruto's whole face lit up as he got stars in his eyes at the sight of Ramen. I chuckled when I see that he had actually started drooling.
"Hey Gaara, let's play after dinner!" Naruto asked.
"Otouto, don't decide for him. You should ask. Maybe he already has plans." I scold him like a mother.
"Hai!" Naruto responds as he turns his attention back to Gaara. Gaara on the other hand doesn't seem to know how to handle all the attention and is looking around the room. "So Garra-nii do you want to play with me after dinner?" Gaara's head snaps to Naruto when he heard what he had been called.
"Nii?" The now very confused red head asked.
Naruto looked down sadly, "Sorry, do you not like me calling you that?" I ruffled his blonde hair and looked at Gaara.
"No it's fine." Gaara says with a small smile.
"Well I guess that means your my otouto now as well doesn't it?" I say smiling.
He looks at me and his whole face brightens up and a big smile covers his face as tears of happiness threatens to spill from his eyes. He then gives Naruto and I a hug and we hug back. I think my family just got a little bit bigger.
