||Pj's POV||

When we finally got to the police station, I had just started to calm down. The ride felt like 10 million hours but the officer told me it was only a 20 minutes drive.

Stepping out of the car, the officer who's name I still didn't know lead me to the main office.

"I'm be right back ok? In case you were wondering, just call me Officer Samara." She said, walking away into some hallway.

Thinking it was kind of rude to just leave me here, I looked around and noticed there were a few cushioned chairs so I took a seat on the chair closest to the door.

A few minutes later, she led me into a little, confined room. I was scared at what I was going to be told. There was a little table with two chairs on each end. She sat down so I sat in the chair in front of her.

"So, you are Pj Olivia Clark?" She asked.

"Yeah," I replied.

"Ok, I know this must be really hard on you but......your father.........he passed. He was murdered but the murderer was taken away. Since there are no relatives able to take care of you, you will have to go to......." She paused, getting out some papers. "Ahh, Sunshine Orphanage. It is all the way in Sydney, Australia but it's what your aunt intended you go to. You will leave tonight at 11pm tonight and arrive in Australia around tomorrow afternoon." She finished.

I gasped. I didn't know what to do. I didn't know what to think. My dad. My last bit of family I had left. Dead. I couldn't believe it. Why? Why him, my beloved father? What did he ever do so wrong?

I felt myself shaking. I was panicking again. My throat tightened as if there was a rope around it. My eyes closed shut. I was in a state of shock. I felt myself slipping from consciousness. It was like what I once read in a John Green book: "Slowly, then all at once,".
