After a few minutes Celeste, oops I mean Mary, came back in, Mr.Daniel trailing after her.
"Uhh, 18- I mean Rochelle could you come her for a sec?" he asks ushering me outside.
"Its not like I have a choice, is it?" I mutter under my breath, following him out the door.
Once outside, he closes the door and asks, "How do you kbow Mary's real name?"
I knew she was lying about her name, but why?
"Uhh, I heard someone say it." This isn't a lie because I heard John say it in my dream.
"Tell is the truth," Mary, real name Celeste, said.
"Why should I? And besides you'd think I was crazy."
"No, we won't. Have you not seen this place or the people in ot. The outside world would have us locked away in a crazy house if they found us."
"Umm...well. I-I-I saw you in a dream," I say avoiding her eyes.
"What kind of dreams?" She asks.
What kind of dreams does she think I'm talking about?
"Well, dreams of you getting beat by John and 'trained' by Mr.Daniel." I say gathering uo the courage to look into her eyes which are boring into mine.
"Wait. Where was I?"
"I don't know. In some room. You were getting beat because you tried to escape, which I dont blame you for." I say the last part looking directly at Mr.Daniel.
"Oh my God, she is it. She is it." I look at Celeste likes she's gone bonkers because well, she has.
"Okay, wait I'm what? What am I?" I repeat but no one seems to hear me as Celeste keeps on ranting.
She suddenly stops and drops to her knees, "Oh where are my manners? I'm so sorry." Now, theres the proof she really gas gone on to the crazy side.
"Uhh? What is she doing?" I ask Mr.Daniel as she stays knelt down in front of me.
"She's praising you," he replies in a duh tone.
