Rosalie stood atop a bridge, her eyes following Owen's movements above the paddock. Her mind wandered to the day she would get to train Raptors or any dinosaur really. But her favorites definitely lied with the raptors. They were agile and smart hunters, relying on each other to survive. A family. And family was everything to her.

Owen was using the clicker to gain the Raptors attention to gain proper responses from the girls. Her eyes naturally gravitated to the beta, Blue. Blue was gray in color with a light blue stripe running down the side of her snout to the end of her tail. Blue was an extraordinary raptor, probably one of the strongest the parks had ever had. Her eyes then shifted to the raptor she had bonded with, Delta. Delta was green in color and more docile than the others and more of the quiet type. Delta had careened her head upward and to the side to locate Rosalie but her attention snapped back to Owen as he activated the clicker in his hand. This brought a smile to Rosalie's lips as Delta was doing a good job with receiving her commands.

Rosalie's attention was averted from the training as Barry walked over to her with a small wave. She returned the favor and kept silent as to not disturb the raptors. They both watched in unison as Owen released the raptors to run around the paddock, turning to walk down the stairs that led to the gravel pathway.

They both were walking down the stairs behind him until her eyes looked up and narrowed on a figure approaching Owen. He was a bulkier man cladded in casual business attire and sported white hair and a white beard paired with a cocky smile. Hoskins. Her good mood could always be counted on being ruined by this urchin's presence. He worked for a militant company that saw Jurassic World's animals as weapons rather than, well, wild animals. They think that since they helped fund their bio-engineering they owned them. Key word was helped as they hadn't funded the bio-engineering fully. That was mostly Masrani's doing; the parks C.E.O. If she had to guess what they were discussing he was probably trying to convince her uncle for the millionth time to militarize the raptors. Even with Owen's extensive background in the force he knows it would never be a safe idea. Animals may form bonds but at heart, they're wild.

Rosalie crossed her arms as her uncle shook his head and Hoskins went to speak again. "Give it a rest Vic" she deadpanned. The two mens attention turned to them with Owen warning her with her eyes. She ignored him. Hoskins chuckled and walked forward with a clap of his hands. He pointed at Owen and smiled "your niece right?" Owen seemed to visibly tense at the question with Hoskins eyes turning back on her. "You have a bond with the green one right?" She grinded her teeth. "Delta" she sneered in a response. Hoskins smirked and eyed her up and down. She could puke. "Feisty little one. What do you say?" He asked. She rose a brow at him and his smile widened. "About using those things out in the field? Be a huge benefit right?" She could laugh at his stupidity. He really believed even the niece of Owen Grady would agree with him? "Those 'things'~" she took a step forward "are animals. Wild might I add." She made it a point to look him up and down as well, him shifting uncomfortably under her eyes, good. "Last time I checked wild animals will bite at whatever the hell they want. Including juicy boned old men." She finished. Hoskins cleared his throat awkwardly and looked at Owen who bore a smirk of pride on his face. Barry found himself purely amused by the interaction, his laughter filling the silence.

Owen walked to Rose swinging an arm round her neck to pull her away, still smiling. He drew her in close and lowered his voice "you sure know how to piss a man off don't you?" Rose kept her eyes forward as they passed the raptors holds, closed off by the safety barring fence. "learned it from the best." She commented with a smile. Owen drew away with smile, probably about to lecture her on when to properly speak.

But their parenting moment was soon interrupted by screams. "Pig loose! Pig loose!" Several voices called out. Their eyes trained onto the paddock just as a body thumped into the dead center of it. A handler had fallen into the raptor pit after trying to capture an escaped pig and the girls were all encircling him a predatory glint shining in their irises. Owen lunged into action as his hand slammed down on a button, opening the gate. Rose's eyes widened in horror "Owen no!" She ran after him but her feet skidded in the dirt to a stop as he held a hand up to her stopping her in her tracks. "Hold your fire!" He yelled to the gunners on the bridge who, to her and everyone else's thanks, listened. Rosalies chest rose quickly as he stepped in front of the new guy cautiously, his hand upward. He placed himself between the handler and the girls, their eyes training onto him. "Eyes on me! Hey! Blue!" Blue screeched. He commanded them to halt with his hand upward, his stance almost low. "close the gate" he spoke quietly and she shook her head in disbelief, "Are you crazy?" Barry asked incredulously. "Close the gate!" The handler spoke hurriedly. She shot him a warning glare and he retreated under her, even though he was definitely older than her. Barry slammed his hand down on the button, the gate slowly descending. Her eyes never left Owens body, fear coursing through her veins. At the last minute Owen ducked and rolled out of the paddock with the gate closing in a slam as the girls ran forward and hit the gate. His eyes looked towards the safety hatch in front of him and she turned to see Hoskins wearing a proud smirk before walking away. Hoskins had watched everything and Owen had just unintentionally proved him right. Rosalie heaved out a huff of air and turned back to her uncle. He stood up and looked down at the handler. "Word of advice, don't turn your back on the cage" he gestured his head to behind him, where blue had her head trying to reach the handler. She screeched and he retreated away in fear. "Did you not stop to think why there was an opening?" She commented, his eyes widening up at her. Rosalie averted her eyes and walked off with Owen and Barry.

"You going to help us out today Rose?" Barry's accented voice spoke out. Most of the time Rose was out here to watch but Barry had a way of convincing Owen to let her help, even with just the cleaning duties instead of just shadowing. "Unfortunately not today!" Her voice came out with some excitement but mostly disheartened. "Claire Dearing has her nephews visiting the park and I get to play tour lead!" Owen chuckled as Barry looked at her with wide eyes. She stopped and wore confusion. "What? What did I say?" "Oh, oh nothing" Barry crossed his arms across his chest and shrugged his shoulders "just surprised the introvert rebel is the one having to be the lead socializer" he teased. Rosalie rolled her eyes as the two men laughed at the idea. "Very funny, but Im gonna make sure these kids have the best days of their lives!" She challenged. Owen rose a brow along with Barry as they looked at her. "They're gonna meet all the dino's they want and ride all the rides. You'll see. Im gonna be the best tour guide." She finished. "Now can one of you drive me to the main hall?" She asked sheepishly. The two men laughed again as Owen walked forward and pointed to the truck. "Lets go, its time for them to be here anyway" he commented.

Rosalie watched as they drove onto park property, Owen and her leaving the truck once they parked. He walked her down one of the back walls where the Rex's containment was located, glancing at her beside him. "Listen, I know this wasn't your idea of fun today" Owen started, grabbing her attention. "Babysitting isn't exactly the best thing to do with your time but it does give you a chance for a new perspective." He said. She rose her brows as they furrowed together. "On?" Owen sighed and smiled softly to her. "Responsibility. You haven't been able to handle the raptors on your own yet or imprint on one yourself, being responsible for two kids will be insightful for you. Introduce you to some things." Owen finished. "Like parenting?" Shw joked. "Not sure tour guide equals to being a parent but it does have some similar concepts, at least in this case" he joked back. They shared a smile. Rose nodded her head in understanding, seeing Owen's perspective on the task she had accepted.

His hand reached out to ruffle her hair again and her hand nimbly moved it off her "okay, okay! I get it! Responsible teen at your service" she said reluctantly but offered a sweet smile to her Uncle. "Love you kiddo" he said as he pulled her into a hug, her arms wrapping around him. "Love you too Owe." They released each other and she began to walk to a door on the side of the containment that led to an employee hall. "Hey remember!" Owen yelled and she stopped her hand from opening the door. "Don't get eaten" he sent her a smile and she laughed shaking her head. "Whatever old man" with that she walked into the hall that would lead her to the main hall. As she walked the gray lined walls and gray floors she silently prayed that the boys she had to watch today wouldn't be too rambunctious as kids usually are, possibly getting lucky with well tempered kids.
