Finally we made it to the coffee shop. It was a little darker and I could hear the music of the guitar playing. As we walked in side the place was packed. On the wall was Neon lights saying "open" or "hot coffee" and "open mic night" we grabbed a table as we watched some of the local talents. There wasn't much lighting in the place. There were a few strands of Christmas lights strung across the room. On the stage was a boy picking his guitar. It was a familiar tune. Let it go by James Bay. I began singing along. When the song was over I didn't realize how loudly I was singing. Ethan and Graysons mouth was dropped open.  "Wow." Ethan said sitting back in his chair. "You're really good" Grayson said siting back.

"You should get up there and sing!" Ethan said urging me on "no no no" I said as my face turned red again. "Any one else want to sing?" Said a man dressed like a hipster with thick glasses.  "She does" Grayson said loudly pointing at me. "No" I said back looking at Grayson. "Look you'll do great" he said with a soft smile. "No I won't, I'm too nervous" I said with my hands on my pants. "Get up here!" The man said with a friendly smile. I barely noticed his pierced lip. "I hate you both" I said looking at the boys as I walked up on to the stage. The man handed me the microphone. "Can I have someone playing the guitar?" I asked looking at him. He had nice cheek bones. "Of course." He said looking at the boy who had just finished playing. "Do you care to come back up here?" He asked the boy. He looked around the age of 17. He was dressed in young and reckless clothing brand and had a beanie covering up his light brown hair. "Yeah sure" he said as he walked back up on the stage and took a seat. "You any good?" He whispered. I blushed. "I don't know I've never really done this before."
He smiled. "I'm sure it won't be that bad." His teeth were straight and white. The way his jaw line formed made me feel some type of way. Maybe I was nervous. "What are you gonna sing?" He asked tuning his guitar again. "Depends, can you sing?" I asked him biting my bottom lip. "Yeah I can help." He said blushing. "Do you know I hate u I love u?" I asked him while blushing. "Do I know it? I worship that song" he exclaimed. "Okay let's do it" I said nervously as he began to play.

As we sang, I watched as both of the Dolan twins mouths dropped. The entire coffee shop seemed to get into it.   I looked over to the boy playing the guitar. He was smiling at me as I sang. He had pretty eyes. I turned away quickly and focused back into the crowd.

Soon the song was over and the room was filled with claps and snaps and whistles. I blushed as I looked over to the boy. "My name is Macy by the way." I said reaching my hand out.
"I'm Alec"
