In my mind,
I replay the time,
You and I spent together.
For a year you made it seem like we were forever.
I started to fall.
Fall for the boy who gave me his all.
I fell for you hard.
I thought you did too.
But a year later,
When you found out how I felt,
and how you made my heart melt,
You decided it was too hard to be friends.
We started to drift to an end.
My heart started to break,
With the news I learnt to take.
Another year had passed,
A little too fast.
I see you staring.
Not even caring.
About how you made my heart break,
That year ago.
I still continue to go,
Down the road of love,
With the black dove.
When I think about the time,
That I was your friend.
When you said you were mine.
I can't help but be sad.
Because all I have of you are memories.
I replay in my mind.
