Peri smiled at her brother, he was so young and she didn't like the fact those people kept experimenting on him. she looked at the fresh cuts and bruises on his skin and hugged him, there was nothing she could do to stop them from doing this and it made her more angry. when she heard the scientist come in the room peri pushed the younger sibling behind her not knowing who was to come though the door, she relaxed once she saw it was only blue, blue was a care taker of the two and she cared for them deeply. she also hated the fact the others worked on them so much, but blue didn't come to check on them she came to get peridot for a test the other were doing. All blue said was it would be fast so peri nodded and looked back at her brother with a face that said "I'll be back soon." Peri followed blue into a room, it looked strange and there was a table that had head, arm and leg re-strengths on it. blue told peri to lay down so they could get set up, once she laid on the table blue snapped the re-strengths in place and left the room. Peri was scared, why did they need to re-strain her for this. A minute passed then finally someone came in with a tray with a needle filled with some type of liquid. Peri tensed at the sight of the object, the man in white cleaned the surface of the skin and ejected the strange looking liquid in her arm. Peri soon went into stock and arched her back in pain letting out little gasped and cries. After a moment peri laid there motionless and quiet. Blue walked in the room scared that the girl might not have survived the test, blue checked her pulse but there was none. Blue teared up and unsnapped the re-strengths pulling peris head into the kris of her neck and cried holding the teen. Something strange happened suddenly peris eyes shot open as she let out a shaky breath. The scientists all cheered and gasped in joy that the new gene had works. Finally they had made something to keep the human race from dying, or at least they thought.
