"Okay Cam, so we do actually have a job perfect for you! One of our Saturday staff quit so there's an opening! Would you be able to come up on Saturday for a trial day?" Ella says, her eyes filled with hope.
"Thats amazing! Yeah sure, I can make Saturday! Is there anything in particular I need to wear or do before that?" I ask.
"Just wear black, it's what all our staff do and it's so much simpler than having uniforms." The man says.
I turn to leave, but as I reach the door I turn back and say "So it's Ella and..." Gesturing to the man.
"Jamie, my names Jamie" he smiles.
"Okay then, thank you both so much for this! See you Saturday!"
I leave the cafe and walk down to my house, which is only a few minutes away from town.
