3: Dreams

Lizzie's POV:

Today's the day I come out of Uni. And get to see Joel. I walk out and his car is there. I walk over to his car and see Lucy in the back seat. I run,
Then I trip over a log.
It was all just a dream.

I wake up, yelling, and realise I am on a Skype call to Joel.
"Lizzie?" He asks.
"Yus?"
"Okay you are alive."
I smile. I go into the bathroom and change into a blue t-shirt, black jeans and blue converse.

I grabbed all of my bags and walked out to see Joel. I put a hand in the air to say hello, and he said hi back.
"Hey Lizzie!" He said, hugging me. "Hey!" I replied. I hopped into the passenger seat and buckled my seatbelt.
"Look Joel, I'm sorry. I should of thought bef-"
"Lizzie, stop. It was all my fault."
"No it wasn't. I really just wan-"
He kissed me on the lips, and then pulled away after 10 seconds.
"What was that for?" I said, blushing.
"A beautiful lady like you,"
"Lucy?" I said, laughing.
"Shut up," he said, giggling.

We got to my house and I picked up buddy.
"Hey buddy!" I screamed.
"Meow," he replied. Cute.
"Lizzie, are we okay now?"
"Yeah, obviously."
"Good," he said, sitting down. I sat down next to him and he pulled me into a hug.

We lay on the sofa and talked about what we've been missing. Then Oli came in.

"Lizzie-" he looked at us, confused.
"Who's he?" He asked, looking at Joel.
"Oli. This is my boyfriend, Joel.."
"Hey Joel. I am Lizzie's best fr-"
"Oli..."
"Okay whatever." He said.
