Lets go

I wake up and my room is bright. Too bright. I open my eyes and my curtains are open, I guess I forgot to close them yesterday. The house is abnormally noisy from everyone packing up for their adventure. idiots. I pull my covers over my body and try to fall back asleep but it's too loud for me to do so. So I turn my radio on and drown them out.

Not even 30 seconds later Finn walks in holding a taser in one hand and a piece of banana bread in the other.

"We got lazy last night and only went through this floor and we decided that it would take a while to back... so we aren't going to leave for a few days. we'll be out within the next few days but we need to get some stuff from the other floors and the mall."

You probably think it's crazy for him to go to the mall because they have to leave the building for that, nope, it's safe. 2 months ago the 6 of us went and attached a wire to the roof of the mall that reaches from the roof or our building to theirs. We locked every door and boarded up every window and set up motion sensors so that it would be hard to get un noticed. The place smells really bad but, it has what we need. Non-perishables and equipment for when we have to get stuff. The wire is like a clothesline but really heavy duty wire. Tt could support the 6 of us on it at the same time and... the 6 of us... me, Finn, Ryan, Tristan, Kara, and Ty. 

We met at that mall. Tristan and Ryan were at the mall with Kara and Finn and Ty brought me to the mall to get perishables. After our parents hung themselves Ty wanted to take care of me. The 4 of them brought us to the building to be safe... well safer. A few days after we met we designed the wire so we could get supplies. It took a week to get all the supplies and 4 days after to actually make it.

"umm okay. I still think it's stupid. But have fun and be safe." I yell over the music, pulling my green blanket over my head.  

"You're the one that needs to stay safe. You're going to be all alone in this apartment for who knows how long. We're going to be together, well equipped and armed. Where you and your introverted little butt will be here alone and defenseless. But I mean you want to stay here. So you do you and be alone you dumb ass."

I look at her with confusion and tilt my head giving her a scowl. Where did the HELL did that come from? I just don't want to go.

"Okay... I see how you feel. I just think that leaving is risky. I don't want any of you guys to get hurt, cause I care. I get that you want to hurt me because I'm not helping you avenge your girlfriend. But I won't risking my freaking life because you miss Kara."

I get out of the bed and turn down the music.

"I thought you cared about Kara? God, you're such a coward! she was your friend too!"

What happened last night? She was so sad last night, now she's all nasty. What did I do? like fuck.

"What happened? Last night you weren't like this at all. You're kinda scaring me... seriously."

She looks at me like I ran over her dog and begins to tear up like last night. Tristan walks in and looks at Finn. He scowls at me. GOD, what the fuck happened last night! I leave my room and go look for Ryan. He is on the terrace about to get onto the wire and leave the apartment... why? I shout Ryan and he turns around with a smile.

"Hey, I'm going to head over to the mall to get a new water filter, wanna come?" He asks with a smirk.

"Sure, but I need to get ready. I just need to get some clean clothes on." I run to my room again and get my clothes. I grab a tight t-shirt, Karas short shorts,  a flannel and my harness from the closet. On my way out I grab my backpack and go to the bathroom to change Tristan and Finn are still hugging in my room. I get changed and fix my hair quickly. I put my brown wavy hair up in a pony tail and brush my teeth. When I'm done I open the door and throw my clothes at Tristan and wave good bye. He gives a slight wave back and brushes me off. I get a water bottle from the fridge and some granola bars from the cupboard and put them in my pineapple backpack.

"Okay, I'm ready." I clip on my harness quickly and race down the wire so fast and I hear Ryan laugh. Ryan waits 30 seconds and then clips himself on and zooms down the wire after me. I'm laughing so hard, I haven't laughed this hard in such a long time. The wind hitting my face and blowing all the loose and little hairs around my face. I bend back and-and spin around. It feels so good. Free. As I near the bottom, I reach for the break and grasp it firmly and pull to slow myself and yell to Ryan to slow down. He doesn't hear me.I panic slightly. I feel the weight of him make the wire tighter. I wave violently at him and he looks and nods his head quickly realizing he is about to slam into me if he doesn't grab his break. He grips his break and slows down with a grin causing me to roll my eyes. He knew what he was doing. Thank god. I reach the bottom and stand on the mall roof and unclip myself slowly so that Ryan has to sit there in his harness.

"Hurry up this hurts my ass." he says rubbing his tail bone as I slowly remove my harness.

"I know." I smile and slow down even more.

"You! YOU! hurry up you brat." he whines and laughs grabbing his crotch.

God, he's so cute. I unclip my harness and smile at him. I move over a little bit. He stands up on the side of the roof and sighs shakily. I laugh and kiss him on the cheek. He grabs my hips and pulls me in tight. He smiles and I bite my lip. He leans in and puts his lips on my neck. I back away and run over to the door. Ryan tries to pull me back but he's still attached to the wire.

"Oh, my god! Fuck you!" he quicky starts on his harness.

He unclips himself quickly and runs to the door and I shriek running inside. He chases me down the stairs and I get down the first flight and Ryan enters the stairwell. He jumps the railing and I shriek again. He jumps over the next railing and he's so close and I speed up. and he finally jumps over the railing right in front of me and grabs my arm and pulls me to face him. 

"You're such a goof. A really hot goof. He slides his hand down my arm and smiles at me. He places my arms on his shoulders and leans in to kiss me, I turn my head.

"Really? Are you serious?"

"No, come here you loser." I lift my hand off of his shoulder and onto his face. He leans in and I kiss him on the lips. He puts his hands on my back and the kiss connects us. I feel so close to him. His lips taste like fruit loops and it makes me want to kiss him more and-and more. He makes me feel weak. He makes me feel wanted and vulnerable. Our bodies are pressed together and he pushes me up against the wall. He puts his hands under my shirt at the back and feels me up with a gentle touch. I want to give into his touch. I grab his belt buckle-

The walkie talkie on Ryan's hip goes off and the noise totally ruins the moment. It is Finn. Son of a bitch! I let go of him and he grabs it. He looks like he's in a daze and somewhat agitated, which makes me happy. I wipe my lips off and start to walk down the stairs until I reach the first floor. 12,11,10,9,8... I get to the 3rd floor and stop suddenly.
