N I N E | MRI

By now I had explained everything and Stiles was in a bed in the hospital asleep and safe. I smiled as I saw his dad walking towards me before he crashed into me with a hug.

"THank you" he said and I smiled pulling back.

"It was no problem. I was worried about him too" I said.

"I just wanna let you know, you're all I hear about from him. He really likes you."

"I really like him too" I replied smiling. Knowing he really does like me was amazing.

"I can tell. Now go home and get rest. You have school tomorrow" he said.

"Aye aye captain" I said and he laughed.

"No wonder he likes you."

 I stood next to Scott as we were visiting before Stiles was sent through a bunch of tests.

"Ok one thing though" the doctor said approaching Stiles as Stiles played with my fingers. "The MRI will probably be loud but it's due to the electricity being sent through metal coils inside the machine. If you want we can get you some earplugs or headphones?"

"I'll be fine" Stiles said nodding. Mellissa and his dad walked out along with the doctor and I stood with Stiles and Scott. I looked at Stiles one last time before leaning in and kissing him.

"I'll be okay" he said and I nodded.

"But you've never been mentally okay but-" I began and was cut off by laughing. "Sorry."

I kissed him one more time walking out and sitting with Stilinski and Mellissa. Stilinski threw his arm around my shoulder and I leaned against him as he smiled softly. I saw Scott and Stiles hug and I sniffled.

"Aw the badass is crying" Stilinski said and I gave him a look before laughing.

 I stood beside Stilisnki and the doctors chair as e flipped through the MRI images and I bit my fingers.

"You see this?" the doctor said pointing at the orange spots. "Both those pots are showing signs of atrophy."

I felt my heart drop to my stomach.

"I'm sorry" the doctor said. I stepped away and turned to the door bursting out. It was like my world was crashing around me. I promised myself no boys until college because I needed to be focused on school but Stiles was different. He made me feel special. He made me happier than I'd ever been. I couldn't lose him. Not now. I felt a panic attack coming along and I grabbed my chest heaving.

"Come on Ariel" I could hear Stiles voice say in my mind.

I began breathing easier and easier as I sat against the wall staring ahead.

I couldn't lose Stiles. I felt crazy to say it but I was falling for this boy hard. Every time I looked at him I felt some type of way. Like I couldn't breathe until I was with him.

            I loved this boy.
