June 1st, 1300 A.D.
My name is Drake O'Cain and I come from an ancestry of wealth. I lived with my family in Scotland in their castle until I was 20 years old. I left to explore the country because I was beyond my family's castle and land. It was hard to do this with the wars occurring but I could always ask my parents for help so I had a fortune at my expense. On my journeys throughout Scotland, England, Wales, and Ireland. I've seen beautiful landscapes, women, and villages. I've met kings, talk to lords, and argued with politicians. I got married to a charming woman named Victoria. After we were married we settled into a gorgeous house in the country side. Moreover Victoria gave birth to my son Vladimir O'Cain, mine parents and hers would occasionally come to visit us. It was the happiest I had ever been in my life. That was until one day I received a letter saying my parents had disappeared. And with the letter was my parents will apparently it was the only thing of importance found in the castle by authorities. The will gave me rights to the family fortune and their castle and its grounds. I don't know what happened to my parents; all I know is that they are most likely dead.
