Emily's POV ~

I ran down the hall at the lockers, frantically searching for my keys to my locker. All of my stuff was in there; my food, my purse, my jacket and my phone

I dropped my keys somewhere, and now I couldn't find them! I searched on top of all the lockers, at the windowsills and all the way down the corridors

I decided to give up. I couldn't find my keys, I didn't have any of my stuff and now I was going to be late for class!

9:45. Now I'm 15 minutes late for class! Ms. Fanning is going to kill me! (Random teacher name :))

I came to a stop when I crashed into a boy with black hair and a beard.

"Oh my god, I'm so sorry!! I've lost my keys and I was looking for them, and now I'm late for class and-"

"Hey hey, chill! Im fine and your fine, no need to worry. Anyway, you said you were looking for your keys, right?"

"Um yeah why?"

The boy picked something that I couldn't quite see up off the floor

"Would these by any chance be them?" He held up my keys and I facepalmed

"Where were they?"

"Just fell out of your bag" he chuckled slightly

"Oh gosh... I'm so stupid!" I looked at my watch. 9.51 am. Now I'm even more late!

"Um I'm sorry, whatever your name is, but I have to go to class, I'm already late and the teacher's going to kill me"

I grabbed my keys from him and ran down the corridor to my next class.

Just before I was out of earshot I heard the boy say something that made me smile

"The name's Josh"
