Shit, I'm so fucking late I didn't realise I had got up so late. I jumped out of bed grabbed the old clothes on my chair and looked at the time. I was so late I quickly

Put my hair in a messy bun and applied my make up. I jumped down stairs grabbed my keys and phone and went out the door. I ran to my car only to realise it wouldn't start. Shit shit shit! This is just great! I ran inside and called my mum

"Mum" I yelled

"Yes honey" she answered from the kitchen

"I need a lift to school my car won't start" I said tearing my hair out

"Ok,ok don't worry I will just say you had the dentist " mum said calmly

"Yeah ok" I was a whole lot calmer now

my mum was always good like this, I always worry about her she had me young with a man that beat her every night. She told me that she called the police on him several times until they took him away. Finally but she seems to always pick the wrong type of men.

We got into my mums car and turned on the local radio.

"And your listening to the 9:00 o'clock breakfast station with bobby brown. Hi guys and today I'm gunna be putting on some funky new tunes for you guys to jam to"

I burst out laughing

"Who does this bobby brown guy think he is" I said laughing

"I do not no lizzy" my mum said smirking

"I mean who even says the words jamming and funky" I laughed

"And were here" mum pulled over to my school

"Bye mum" I yelled blowing a kiss

"Bye lizzy and no I won't forget to call and tell the school you had a dentist appointment bye honey" she told me and then drove away.
