Chapter 3- lunch

I spotted Tyler the other side of the corridor.

"Lizzy!" I heard

"Hey" I turned round to see Tyler standing towering over me with his face gleaming.

"You wanna get something to eat?" he asked

"Yeah ok" I said

Tyler put his arm round my waist, I liked when he did this it made me feel like I was protected.

We sat down in the canteen together. He kissed me gently then went to get his lunch

"Do you want anything?" He asked concerned

"No!" I answer we had been dating for over two months, but I still was uncomfortable eating in front of him. It sounds stupid but its true.

"Ok then babe" he replied walking of with a smirk on his face. I stared at Tyler thinking how I could tell him about not being able to go to the party. I guess I could come later to the party I mean I would only miss a hour. And the party doesn't really start till later anyway, I am sure he won't mind that. After I saw Tyler making his way towards me, he had a ham and cheese sandwich in his hands with a packet of crisps in his hands. I smiled at him, he looked at my face, he could tell I was upset he always could.

"What's wrong?" He asked me

"Oh nothing don't worry" I told him wanting him to ask why

"We'll I am worrying and it is something" he told me

"It's just" I paused

"Just?"

"We'll you no the party I got a detention and I might not be able to make the first hour of the party" I explained. A look of relief swept over his face

"Oh thank god I thought it was something big" he stated

"Oh" I said not shaw whether to be happy or not about it.

"Yeah as long as you can come after its fine"

"Yeah I can, I'm just not shaw what to wear" I asked

"Anything will be fine" being a typical boy he would say that.

"No I mean like dressy or causal or both? " I asked stressing out a bit

"Um both I guess" shrugging as that didn't help me but I guess I will have to work with what I have.
