a secret love

chapter 4

Colten's pov.

I woke up with the alarm blasting the Party Rock Anthem.  I got up and went to the bathroom and stripped to jump in the shower I soaped up my body and my hair, washed it out and off and got out of the shower.  I wrapped a towel around my waist and combed out my hair and flipped it to the side then I went back into my room to look into my closet to see what I was going to wear to school today.  I finally picked out blue jeans and a black v-neck and I put it on.

After I had finished taking my shower and getting dressed I went to go brush my teeth until they felt clean then I blow dried my hair and put on some of my cologne that Amy loved so much and I grabbed my backpack and an apple from the kitchen and ate it for breakfast, I know not much but I was in a hurry to get Amy and get to school.

Today was a very important day.  Today I was going to start on getting back at Tiffany for what she did to Amy  and I had planned on this hopefully leading to her breaking up with me so that me and Amy could finally grow closer than ever and I could try to find the courage to tell her I love her.

I wasn't quit sure yet on what I was going to do but I had TONS of things in mind trust me.  I finally arrived at Amy's house and she came outside and got in the car.  "Hey how are you this morning?", I said with a big smile on my face.  She still looked half asleep and while she said,"Good tired ready for this day to be over."  My smile kind of faded and I wasn't sure on what to say back so I grabbed her hand and I said,"Today is going to be a great day you'll see!"  Admiditly a huge smile appeared on her face and then one also appeared on mine.

We stopped at a starbucks and I bought her some coffee to help her wake up and that made her happy and off course she kept thanking me for it and how nice of me it was to buy it for her.  We had a fun time in the  car together and I didn't want it to end because we had to go to school so I asked her,"Do you want to skip school today and have some fun?"  I was hoping she would say yes and I thought maybe she would also say yes because of yesterdays scene.  She looked at me for a momment and then she said,"Oh my gosh that's a great idea and I sures heck don't want to go to school after yesterday thank you so much Colten you are so sweet thank you so much!"  Then she reached towards me and kissed my cheek not caring because she was still full of excitment

I looked at her and her eyes wide and full of happines and I said to her,"Your welcome, so lets go have some fun!"  Still looking at her, her smile faded a little and she look up at me and said,"Oh and I'm sorry about kissing your cheek and I should of asked first before kissing it I really am sorry I..I started to speak cutting her off, It's ok you didn't have to ask I liked that you kissed my cheek it made me feel appreciated."  She looked at me and just smiled and simply said,"Thanks."

After all that excitment we headed off to our day of playing hooky and a day full of fun.  I drove us to the store and I told her I would be right back and I bought a blanket for us to sit on an I put it in the car and started off to the park.  Once we got to the park I bought me and her some ice cream (and may I say she looked pretty cute eatting it =) ).  Of course I had her sitting on the blanket with me I nsures heck wouldn't let her sit on the grass and get her shorts dirty.  I was having so much speading time with her and I hopped that this could continue but the words boyfriend and girlfriend could be set in place.

Amy's pov.

I was having so much fun with Colten and I couldn' believe I was with him right now at the park sitting on a blanket with him watching him eat ice cream (which he looked so cute doing).  I loved getting to do this with him and it was romantic and I had wished that we could do this all the time and with the nicknames boyfriend and girlfriend included but I knew that probably wouldn't happen and if so not for a very very long time and I sure wouldn't have the guts to make it happen and of course the "rules" and wait for the boy to ask me not me ask him.

This day was so perfect and I didn't want it to end.  I was day dreaming while looking at Colten when all of a sudden it ended when Colten taped me and asked if I was ok and I just laughed and said yes and then he asked me,"So how about me and you go to the beach and have some fun in the sand and the water?"  I froze in excitment and my reply was "OMG LETS GO!"  So we headed off to the beach to have some fun aand I know what your thinking what about your bathing suit well me and Colten already had them because we both on the swim team.

We got to the beach and Colten laid out the blanket on the ground and we sat down and we talked for a while admired the scenery around us.  It was a perfect day to be on the beach beacuse there was barely anyone here so it was basically just me and Colten here.  After that we changed into our bathing suits and got into the water (and no he is not wearing a sped-o our swim team guys wear regular swim shorts).

We swam for a while and then we headed off to his house to hang out for a while till school was over.  We sat in his living room and watch red ridding hood (which may I add is a really good movie) and we ate popcorn.  While watching the movie I was thinking about how everything that could happen betwen me and him  during a movie if we were dating, like how we could be cuddling under a blanket instead of sitting three of four feet away from each other on the couch or how we could be holding hands instead of me holding my drink and popcorn.

I loved bein with Colten I always had a fun time with him and I was always happy and I felt like I could  be myself around him and I always felt like I could tell him all my my secrets and share my feelings with him I always felt so comfortable around him.

Unfortunatley it was the end of our perfect day and I had already been home for a couple of hours now was time for me to get ready for the next day.

Tiffany's pov.

I went through the whole day without Colten by my side but I mean of course I didn't feel lonley I had all of my friends with me all day and I guess I did kind of miss that idiot but really all he is to me is a dog who follows me around because he doesn't know what else to do.

Today I have a feeling though that he was spending the whole day with other dog he hands out with and talks to sometimes It's fine I'll get him back tomorrow at school I'll make him jealous more than he has ever been before......
