"Evergreen stop don't kill her." I heard someone say but I didn't open my eyes to see who it was.

"Give me one reason why Carlo(Carflo)." Evergreen's voice sounded very angry.

"Just don't kill her.... Please Evergreen." This voice wasn't Carlo's (Carflo).

"Tell me why.... Zane." Evergreen sounded like she was about to growl at Zane.

"Because.... Because she didn't do anything wrong." I heard Zane say. I thought that was very brave of him to say.

"That's not good enough." Evergreen held the sword tighter and closer to my throat.

"Evergreen it's time to put the past in the past and forgive." I hear Carlo(Carflo) say.

"I can't not after... They killed him." Evergreen sounded like she was about to cry but her anger was still there.

I finally decided to speak up. "What do you mean, killed who?"

"Why do you care your kind killed my best friend the one person I really cared about. They had no mercy upon him they killed him right before my eyes. I trusted the Manticores.... But they only got close because we lived with humans. My best friend Luke he was human. *story time* While I went with another Manticore I left Luke all alone... I heard him scream and I ran towards him. But the Manticore I was with tried to stop me but I had to kill her since she tried to kill me. I got done killing the manticore.... I ran toward his direction again... I saw them sting him to death. I ran in... But I was toolate he was dead. If I hadn't gotten there in time his body would have been eaten by all of the Manticores." She still held the sword to my throat but there were tears in her eyes.

"Please, Evergreen... Would Luke have wanted you to kill all of the Manticores, You know he would have wanted you to forgive." I heard Zane say.

Evergreen sighed and put down her sword. "Fine only because of Luke."

After I opened my eyes I said something. "Thank you guys so much," I said that very quietly. Everyone heard me and the guys gave me a small smile.

Time after~~~
After the incident with me being a Manticore Evergreen finally was able to forget and move on. I got to know everyone in the village. Evergreen also let the boys ask me out. Evergreen also had to make rules for that. She said that I must at least go on a couple of dates before choosing one of the guys.

"Hey (your name)." Said Garroth with a huge smile on his face.

"What's up Garroth," I asked.

"I was wondering if you wanted to go on a ...... Date with me tonight or some other day..."

"Uh.... Are you serious Garroth?"

"Yes..." He was blushing and getting nervous I thought that was very cute.

Choice one: "Garroth I would love to go on a date with you,"  I blushed.

Choice two:  "I can't go on a date with you Garroth...I like someone else." I felt really bad.

Choice one: "Really (your name)? Ok um... Meet me at the fountain in the middle of the village. I'm going to take you somewhere special." *walks away happily*

Choice two: "Oh okay. Well, it was worth a shot see you around."
